Didn't like Crouch when he was a non spurs player playing for England and did not want us to buy him. His hold up play is absolutely shocking, he can't head and makes Corluka look quicker than Lennon. Don't know when the myth started that he plays well with Defoe, but seeing Defoe run on to congratulate Pav at the end tells me he'd be more than happy to start with Pav.

Crouch was shocking today and if Redknapp doesn't give the Defoe & Pav partnership a go until the end of the season I'd question whether arry should be in charge in August.

tbh you shouldn't look into the look on Harry's face. But if it was for something it would be because at this moment he has no idea what team he is going to pick against Bolton....

and well done pav

We win 3-0 and all some people can concentrate on, is weather Harry twitched when Pav scored:eek:mg:. Unfuckingbelievable.

Redknapp's reaction to both Pav's goals was predictable and truly pathetic for a manager of a high profile club. Very embarrassing - and tells us all we needed to know about his attitude and small-time mentality.

Sorry bro, but I gotta disagree

Arry always looks like that, it was just the commentary and the timing of the cut that made it seem like he was disappointed that pav scored.

I just watched his post match interview and he was full of praise for pav. Something like "he's a top, top player when he wants to play".

that makes the rest of the quote meaningless. You can't make a sound judgement with pre-conceptions like that.

However I do think it is time for Crouch to sit on the bench for a little bit. He is a good player, and if he looked like one he would be much more appreciated. But he is a great impact sub. And let him be that until it becomes time for another change

Darren Bent didn't get this kind of adulation when he scored two goals in fact the spurs faithful chanted for Defoe for instead when he wasn't even at the club. Harry didn't get this level of stick for not playing Bent either.

no it wasn't harrys typical disinterested face, it was a look of....bemusement, perplexment and annoyance all rolled into one delicious "how do i not start him now" package :)

Like I said - you are reading too much into it. I have watched his face when we score, on numerous occasions, in fact it is something of a running joke in my household, and when I satndup look around briefly, put my hands in my pockets, tuen slightly and then sit down, it is understood instantly that I am mimicking 'Arry's reaction to bentley's goal againt the ArseScum - I mean, we score one of the 'coolest' goals ever to grace a NLD and 'Arry just looks totally repressed. In fact I think that sums it up, he really does seem to struggle with his emotional content. I didn't make my post for no reason - I really believe you are all reading too much into it. As I said, did he really want the game to go into the last 10 odd minutes on that pitch with just a 1-nil lead:shrug: Did he really not want the two extra on our goal difference:shrug:
I have actually wtached him when he did get excited, jump up, kinda half-put his arms in the air, stop, look around, look kinda embarrassed, and sit down immediately. And I really do think he is perplexed by Pav. and how to ge the best out of him.

Usually, i'm tighter than Julie Andrews' wanny with rep but you've earned some :)

Thanks bud, it will make up for the hazing I will get for daring to swim against the tide (see quote 1, above)

p.s. I really want Pav. to be given a chance, but he has to speak less and score more.

Why? At the start of the season I wanted him to do well because he was a Spurs player again and was prepared to give him a chance. After watching most games this season I've made the judgement that arry has wasted £9 million and Crouch should never have been bought. Now we're stuck with him until the summer he should be used as an option from the bench.

indeed, i'd rather keep crouch but only as an impact sub, i think if we are looking for a goal he is a great option to have

teams have to reshuffle to cope with his awkward clownishness and it creates havoc in the last 15 mins of a game, but as a starter for tottenham hotspur, no, no thanks:cry:

Really happy for Pav today, his two goals were top finnishes and shows just what a good player Pav can be.

Thought today was a really good professional performance from the lads in difficult weather conditions and on an absolutly awful pitch.

If any team looked like so called "southern softies" today, it was Wigan and not us.

Harry didn't even call him a triffic footballer :-|

Little Danny boy needs to call him into his office and slap that candleface around for a while so he can see sense.

I like Harry, but I hate the way he treats Pavlyuchenko. It's not right.

Well that can be only done if he is picked to play. 3 goals in 2 sub app's is not a bad start if you ask me.....

The only thing that wants Crouch to start is Dawson's right foot!!!! Everytime we start playing the ball around nicely it get's to Dawson who catches a glimpse of something tall and useless out of the corner of his eye and then HOOF!!!!

It is boring and predictable and we need to do something about it.

I don't think there is anything Harry can do now to keep Pav. I think even if he plays him for the rest of the season, Pav will still be offski. Not because Harry wants to sell but because I feel that bridge is well and truly burnt

Im sure chelski fans felt the same way with drogba.
