The midfielder and Spurs both want a deal, but the Londoners are refusing to meet a valuation that's £10m higher than the fee paid for him a year ago

Surprised not many people rate him! Would be an excellent signing, albeit 25 being quite high. Anything between 15-20 would be worth it, in my opinion.

Even 15m seems expensive bearing in mind Newcastle went down with him pulling the strings in midfield. He looked good against us so I'm sure there's a good player in him if he gets the right coach. Poch could be that man and Levy could be the man to negotiate a fair price from a team who need to slash wages. This is one of those deals I put down as a maybe.

Set the limit offer £15mil max. If they refuse to sell, then leave for other players. With £25mil (+£10mil) maybe we can pursuade Goetze (?) :D

Beg Spurs, right? there's no suggestion Spurs want him!

The Mirror is a Sports Direct-approved paper, isn't it? PLEASE Spurs, buy our player for a high fee..

he certainly offers something different to what we have - I reckon he is a backup option after Gotze.

10M plus a couple of players on loan for the season should be more then generous.

But it's never easy signing anyone form Newcastle. Ashley is as stubborn as Levy.

I thought he was one of the few good things about Newcastle's season. He may not turn into a superstar, but he'd certainly add some pace, trickery and goals to our options.

If we were to sign him, I think he'd have a Gylfi-type impact. Not 1st choice unless he proved amazing, but a good option to start or off the bench depending on the form of others.
