lol. Lamela just isn't Pacey as such. He is quick off the mark. Remy is, very very fast. Faster than Lennon fast.

I beg to differ. Lennon is slightly faster than Remy. Although Remy is fucking fast, tbf.

Remy unlike Lennon runs with his head up and can go past his marker ... Lennon is clueless.

Okay, that has nothing to do with the argument on hand. The OP claimed Remy is faster than Lennon, and that is simply not true. Not backed up by empirical evidence at all.
Just an FYI, Lennon is one of the fastest muth**f*ckers on the planet. Incidentally we had two of the fastest muth**f*ckers on the planet at our club until Gareth left last year, but that's a separate can of worms.
So yes, Lennon is faster than Remy (head up, head down, or head sideways...no matter how you slice it).
And if you consider explosive pace, then it's not even close. On overall sprinting speed however, Remy and Lennon are pretty similar. So I suppose it depends on the parameters.

Lennon used to be explosion but these days we don't get to see it as he skips infield and runs into a defender. Remy on the other hand attacks the defence and has an attempt on goal. Lennon used to be one of my favourite players but the last 2 seasons he's been shocking.

Walker said kaboul is propably fastest in 100m, but its hard to believe. And he would be injured after 50m.

Really hope the links with this guy build to be honest, he's quality. I don't know why we're not looking at him more. He's very different from Lukaku in that he is more of a Drobga-type battering ram, can occupy the space between two center backs giving the other players space and time, while also being capable of moments of "something out of nothing" (see his goal against us). Lukaku prefers to latch onto through balls and is still far from refined (though he is young tbf). Bony has 16 league goals this season, which is impressive, and has great technique as well. Would cost less than Lukaku too I reckon, and Swansea are more likely to deal with us than Chelsea too I should think!

Also a very Pochettino-type striker - big man, strong, good in the air. See Lambert, Rickie, or Osvaldo, Daniel for more

I used to have a Jack Russell that played football like Lennon. Fast as f***, but the ball would always end up in the flower beds. Never passed it back to me once either, little sod.

Couple of points. I can't see any discernible media link to Bony so not sure why thread is still open? That said, I've been a fan of Bony this season, but am also wary of pushing the boat out for him. All depends on fee, 15 mil max IMO, and even that is pushing it. Just look at difference between benteke last season and this.

I think the psychological factor has to be considered in Benteke's case, but at the same time your point is still valid.

Agreed, it's been a tough year for benteke, with injury and all that's gone on at villa, he was just a very similar case that sprung to mind. Can also look at papiss cisse, Carroll and all sorts of other one season wonders. That said, bony could continue to be a revelation. Depends how much levy is willing to take that risk. I'd be happy for us to go for him, elated in fact, but only at the right price.

At £20m he would be an excellent addition, especially if we got a large chunk of it back from Atletico for Soldado.

Powerful striker, strong as an Ox, holds the ball up well and has a powerful shot on him but also seems a tidy finisher. Already plays in a footballing side and has scored against a few of the big teams. Could excel in the Lambert role in Poch's system.

It seems Swansea are resigned to losing him so can't see why we wouldn't enquire. Although we do seem to have a few targets lined up already:-

Remy (Broomfields pick)
Lukaku (been suggested Levy's pick)
Batshauyi (ITK on bid)
Morata (Long term link)

I'd personally be very happy with Bony however

Well my dad's dog's uncle's mum's cousin's gimp's lawyer is the third cousin, twice removed, of Daniel Levy, and he once heard baldy say "that geezer's pretty nifty in the box, innit?". So does that count?

Afraid not, I wouldn't believe anything that came out of a lawyers mouth!! ;)
