All the talk in the media is about him leaving to join Chelsea now. I'll be really disappointed if this turns out to be the case. Firstly he has huge potential but could also come in right away and strengthen our starting 11. Secondly this is a deal that seemed doable for us.
Your be disappointed?? Imagine how poch will feel. He really wants Zaha and I suspect if we met palace terms for him then he would be more than happy to join us that you would imagine would make MP livid

Got to say, other than Zaha, and the obvious unobtainable list of Mahrez, Salah, Sane etc there is no one in the PL that would improve us. We are trying to find a star player imo. What are we going to try and do as option C? Are there these types of players available in other leagues that could make this type of impact. Note - remember I know next to nothing about International football. I’m talking about a robust, tenacious hard working player also that frightens the fuck out of opponents. And if these players exist, how can they still under the radar, or achievable for a decent price? Should we still be buying hopefuls?

Edit - and guarantee it being successful too. Lot of money to spunk without being 100% sure. Probably hence our last 2 wingers from France.

And more importantly, home grown.

We were always told Levy would have to pay more than he wants to get this done and he is never going to go all in whilst the small chance of the Martial and Toby swap still on the cards. Utd are fucking over our incomings too. We have a quality target, that seems to fit a key profile Poch wants, and has that magic homegrown status and we still seem unwilling to push the boat out for him despite him being available at a high, but hardly prohibitive price.

This mystery CM better be a worldy, because our window is hinging on it.

I wonder if people only believe the negative ITK we get. Anything positive and it, for the most part, gets disregarded.

Probably because in this window the bloke ends up dying shortly after.

It's good to remain holding a sense of humour, unfortunately most people have lost theirs and forgotten not to get to high or low when it comes to the world of ITK and the transfer window.

"the small chance of the Martial and Toby swap still on the cards ..." was never the case

It's hard to believe there is even the remotest possibility of that deal happening. I don't doubt there is a good chance of Toby moving the other way but there's no way I can see Utd letting us having Martial in exchange. From the outside looking in, the more likely scenario would seem to be Utd making a huge offer for Toby we can't turn down and selling Martial abroad.

EDIT: which makes the Zaha situation even more bemusing.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

It’s been pretty obvious the info so far on Zaha has been bollox other than we have s interest.
I understand why you would feel like that but I honestly think that we have shown an interest insofar as enquiring about his availability. Whether we made a formal bid is debatable.

Why? Gards has already said we didn’t bid and the info was wrong.
Ah, that was the info you said was bollocks? Now I understand. :cautious::ROFLMAO:

Not going to get into an argument over this - it’s your ass after all. Carry on calling out the ITK for all I care - in fact I now encourage it. :)

Lol

I’m not calling out the itk but gards has said the bid info was wrong while the deal has been on off so much it’s pretty obvious no one has a clue what’s going on.

As for my ass if you get banned for calling info bollox that the original itk has said the same then so be it (y)
