A few more bits from our old mate Steve (@StevenLDN) on Twitter:

"I'm led to believe the situation got resolved early hours of today."

"situations changed completely this morning. Back infront."

"I wouldn't usually know ANYTHING about deals as I have no great source for ordinary deals. He's an embassy officer who looks over WP cases."

EDIT: For those who missed the earlier tweets, this followed on from:

"RE; Willian, Spurs have sent his registration off to the FA and he has a VISA hearing today. Chelsea have like 5% chance of getting him."

Still no update this morning. Where is he? Hotel? Hotspur Way? Cobham?

As great as Willian as a player is, he is a potential trouble maker in bad times. His character is doubtful.

But who cares, let's get him.

a 24 yo twice capped players who never played in a top flight league.. for 30 mil. Dumb.
He plays for one of IF not the hardest National team to get into! Plus the only reason he doesn't get picked is (If I remember correctly) because somebody paid to get him his first cap so hes fallen out of favour!

StevenTHFC on here I believe. Seems to get the most fortuitous ITK ever on Twitter, it was him who also heard the guy in the suit on the train saying that Bale didn't want to leave etc

Hmmmmm

*keeps sceptical hat on and dons sceptical underwear*

Some of you sound like Liverpool fans.

I got battered on here for questioning Willian before we'd put the bid in, now that we might actually lose him all of you ****s that gave me WTF?!!s, Dislikes and Disagrees are all piping up now.

It seems like its his agent who is the troublemaker (nicest way of putting it) rather than Willian

Based on?

As far as I was told from someone who follows the league he went sometimes to England while training to force a move. He extended his holidays in Brasil from time to time and even went on strike once. Just what I was told, but I can imagine that.

Lots of you saying Willian won't get in the chelsea team over their current players.
He will be costing more than Oscar, Mata, Hazard etc and in fact, more than anyone in their squad right now except Torres.
I'd also like to think that if we want to succeed we'd be signing players that WOULD get in that team.

So tell me. Is he not good enough for them. Or are people just saying that as a way of convincing themselves he might not go there.
What I've seen suggests he would pay regularly for any one that signs him. Especially at 30m quid.

Ps. I fucked this whole thing up.
Before the news broke. And I mean MINUTES before. I bought a lilywhite club membership.
I refused last year believing Levy was a stingey ****.
I decided we really were going for it this year and coughed up. Then the news broke.
Can I get a refund???
I say that as I don't want to curse it.

I bought a FAKE Spurs shirt this year in protest at stub hub. Yeah, I said it.

Well that's a pretty telling sign right there isn't it? He had to pay to get a cap.

30 mil? Have a laugh.
