From telling a reporter he'd like to join Liverpool, following people on twitter, confirming he's signing for us, seemingly joining Chelsea instead and now saying he hasn't actually decided.

This guy is one hell of a troll.

It's a complicated game.

Willian might actually want us (wages offered probably not much different)
Kia can probably get more money Via Chelscum.

I doubt this is the case. Otherwise he would have just told Kia that he didn't want to speak to Chelsea.

I'm pretty sure we're not even trying to sign him anymore, based on the plethora of ITK.

Probably just keeping schtum until his work permit is sorted.

He will probably send little danny a thank you letter too

SSN fcking loving this. They couldn't have scripted this any better. They love drama.

He has made his choice. Jose isn't stupid. I don't think he would be mouthing off about Willian joining Chelsea in a press conference if there was still any possibility of him still coming to us.

Let move on. At least Lamela is looking close....

I don't think he'll be benched. He'll play, as he is a Mourinho bought player.

He is taking more of a risk joining them though, definitely as there is no doubt he'll be top bollocks at Spurs.

He'll play simply because he's a quality player. But he probably won't play enough to force himself into contention for the national team. At Spurs or Liverpool he would have been one of the first names on the team sheet and shone from being such a key figure, at Chelsea he's competing with Lampard, Oscar, Ramires, Mata, Essien, Hazard and Schurrle for game time.

such a shame how the bernard thing worked out. at the time we probably thought bale is staying so to spend £20m on a 20 year old was too much of a risk but if he was still available now i'm sure we'd be right in for him.

Could have just been sheer luck of course but to be fair SSN have called this one mostly right so far. If there is a decision to be made then i'm 98% sure it'll be Chavs though.

Almost makes me dislike football ...............almost

oh well onwards and upwards who next? Arsenal to nick Lamela off us?

Really should just pull the plug on Bale now imo, at the end of the day we havent really overspent our budget too much have we?

I'm not saying Mata would come here, but should Willian go to chavs, mata would have a lot less minutes on the pitch obviously. Watched a programme about him while back and absolutely loves London and says he want to live there for long time. Being a World Cup year he must play, he's 26 and with the young talent in Spain, may be last chance at World Cup.

Yes Yoda, 'tis true.... Methinks Spurs dodged a bullet with Willian. Just buy Lamela and keep Bale now,.... simples (y)

BTW -- does this make Mata available?....
