Willian has a bromance going on with AVB. If we were to match a Liverpool bid, he would probably walk here from Russia.

If City had a bid of 35 ME rejected, what do they want 40-45? Liverpool ain't going that high.

Can see him going Monaco/PSG unless he is genuinely holding out for footballing reasons for a PL move.

"There was the Manchester City bid [a few weeks ago, of €40 million (£34.1m)], that was turned down [before Kerimov made his decision to sell the players] and that was a while ago.

This is actually what he has said:

"Now I'm hoping, of course, in the coming days to receive an offer from a club like Liverpool. If even Liverpool, it sure is a great club. I am hopeful and peaceful hoping for the best. I love the Premier League, much like the style of English football, and certainly if it happens will be good for me, for my image. I'll grow professionally, it's a World Cup year and surely this will be a showcase for me. He (owner Suleyman Kerimov) warned us. Not wanting to give anyone for free, but made it clear that getting good an offer, an offer that at least comes close to the values that he bought the players for sure it would help, will help players go. Surely get an offer good for them, will release, if not get will not release. That's it."

Sales have started with Dinamo Moscow signing Zhirkov, Kokorin and Denisov tonight and Zenit clinching Shatov earlier and Boussoufa reportedly having medical with Lokomotiv and Lassana Diarra heavily linked to follow.

Just question of time when Jucilei, L.Traore, Eto'o, Samba and Willian depart.

Anyway to find out how much they went for, compare to what they bought them for?
Wondering how much of a sale that's going to be.

It's on Goal.com. They have the full quote. He 100% says it.
Noooot exactly. That quote is insanely paraphrased.

Here's what he said: "There was the Manchester City bid, that was turned down and that was a while ago." Goal.com literally doubled the size of his quote with their own words. There's literally nothing to suggest it was two weeks ago. In fact it suggest the exact opposite of anythin recent as he literally says, "that was awhile ago".

Ffs, really hope he doesn't go Liverpool...

Also I love it when they lose out on targets after getting so worked up about them - They always then feel like victims.

Keeping Suarez and signing Willian would be worrying..

However I think another foreign club will get involved.

Will have to be either English, French, Italian, or Spanish. I can't see him going to any other league than the big ones as he clearly wants a WC showcase.

Flol at all those who said he wouldn't go to Liverpool and we were his dream club.
I don't recall anyone actually saying that.

I do recall others saying we can offer more, which is the truth. We can offer Europa and a manager he's familiar with.

The real mystery comes in the actual amount of payment. I personally think Willian is willing to go anywhere - it's whoever can offer Anzhi the most by the end of the window.

So now Manchester United is apparently interested.

I haven't seen the article, but the Neymar/Brazil Fanboy's Twitter just mentioned The Telegraph is reporting it.

Well I highly doubt he will go there but there is a possibility with anyone if they pay the price and no one else does. We will go for him and I cant see him joining them over us but its football so will just have to see what we see and hear

I genuinely hope this is not true as we will struggle immensely to pull that off.

Again, Liverpool have Coutinho who plays pretty much in Willian's (ALM) preferred position. Would be amazed if they spunk 30m on Willian. Fucking amazed.
