There's literally nothing to suggest it was two weeks ago. In fact it suggest the exact opposite of anythin recent as he literally says, "that was awhile ago".

I don't recall anyone actually saying that.

I do recall others saying we can offer more, which is the truth. We can offer Europa and a manager he's familiar with.

The real mystery comes in the actual amount of payment. I personally think Willian is willing to go anywhere - it's whoever can offer Anzhi the most by the end of the window.
