Probably won't happen and won't be a widely accepted opinion but I'd love us to test Liverpool's resolve with a big bid for Coutinho. He's got the potential to be way better than Willian and if we offered them a ridiculous return on a player they signed for £8 million... Almost certain they wouldn't sell though.

I'm not that fussed if Willian doesn't come now. Great player but I want the one's like Vertonghen who want to come here and move the club forward.

Unfortunately its probably agent pushed - Willian would look better in a spurs shirt for his world cup prospects.

There's other options out there. We need to move fast whilst RM are stumping up the Bale cash and I think we'll see two in very soon - hopefully Lamela and another creative forward!

Can you read my mind?

Thing is with Willian there are alternatives. Turan, Pjanic, Eriksen, and even Pastore or Nani possibly. It's Lamela we ought to be really worried about, if we bugger that one up after selling Bale then we really are caught with our pants down.

If it was a one-off mate, then yes I'd agree, but it's a repetitive thing with these ****s nabbing our targets, without any need for the player and it's highly frustrating.

previously would have been more pissed off... but i recon with the setup we have now, I doubt we have put all our eggs in our basket and will have other if not better options. I am as annoyed with Chelsea doing this as much as the next fan. However unfortunately this is what football is like now. There will always be a bigger club than you nabbing the players you think are dead certs to join you

Or put in a bid for Mata. I mean seriously Oscar, Hazard, Willian, De Bruyne, Schurrle and Mata?

Hokey doke, one lost, not the end of the world and lets move on!

Franco can you squeeze Morata on loan for a year as part of the Bale deal and we can permanently address this position again next year.

This may sound like sour grapes, butI think we may have dodged a bullet, I rate Gio Dos Santos more than Willian.
Good to watch but very little end product for the all that money. A bit like a visit to strip club.
