We are 8 games into season. There's just no patience these days
I thought he was better than Verts, and was really unlucky to lose his place.Think he did well when called upon last season and if anything putting verts straight back in the team had a negative impact on our performance and results
I do - but I wasn't aware of his Left-footedness and balance is everything, so I have to eat my words and pick Dier ahead of him - purely for balance.Have to feel for the guy
Not on the bench for Bayer, looks like his days are numbered..........
I fear you've hit upon something here. From what we've all seen, given that we don't see training sessions, there's no reason to us why for a big match against Leverkusen if Vertonghen were to be injured in the opening minutes Poch would want Carter Vickers to play the rest of the game ahead of Wimmer. Let's hope the Belgian duo are playing together soon and Poch can work out his back up options.Something must be going on behind the scenes, couldn't believe it when he wasn't on the bench!
