Tottenham outcast Harry Winks could be sent back to the club in January after struggling during his loan spell with Sampdoria, according to reports. The midfielder opted for a fresh start by signing with the Serie A outfit on a season-long loan this summer, but the situation has escalated from bad to worse for the former England international.

Not fussed now mate, he won't get any game time eitherway.
Do we want players who aren’t going to get any game time hanging around though? Interesting he’s struggled, would have though Italy would have suited him. Maybe, and bear with me here, the issue is that he isn’t very good

Maybe with the Royal Mail strikes he'll get lost in the post.

I just think his chronic ankle issues as Poch desribed a couple of years back is probably going to ruin his career at this point.

That first one in 2017 came after he collided with some water bottles that had been placed in front of the dugouts at Burnley IIRC. A freak accident that has played a huge part in wrecking what was a very promising career at that point.

Were we that desperate to get shot of him that we agreed to a termination clause?

Hopefully a PL team battling relegation takes a punt on him in January. Bournemouth would be a good shout.

It’s not that he’s struggled on the field, it’s that he still hasn’t made his debut because of an ankle injury. The caption is a bit misleading, makes it sound like he’s been playing terribly..
