Alasdair Gold has said on his Youtube channel that Harry Winks wants to stay at Tottenham Hotspur, despite claims that he is up for sale.

You have to laugh at these outlets that just recycle someone else's work. At least they credit him for it. If they had bothered to actually listen to what he said though, they'd know their headline is rubbish.

We are open to offers. He ideally wants to stay. The two aren't mutually exclusive as the headline suggests.

Time's up, buddy. Been coasting too long. Best for all parties if he tries a new environment.

I think he's simply not good enough. And probably never will be. Fighting for your place isn't going to give you the necessary ability for the level we need to be at. Sorry, nice bloke, but time to go.

I don't blame Harry Winks one bit for being pissed off playing for Mourinho. Continually used in a pivot and outnumbered in midfield, tasked with the holding role that didn't suit him and having a bunch of statues up front with little or no movement unless it was a quick counter attack. Then the 'same coach, different players' bullshit. Winks apparently spoke his mind and has suffered a huge backlash, but at least he had the nuts to say something. Wherever the information around him has come from, it will have some sort of spin on it.

Don't rate him, but Can't blame him. He loves the club, doesn't want to leave his boyhood team, despite it harming his career

I respect that

Danny Rose speaks his mind to press about Spurs and is slaughtered

Winks does it and it is now okay? Wow!

This is the same sort of clearout Poch had, and it only worked because he got rid of all the dissenters, not matter how good they were or if they wanted to stay.

If Winks isn't favoured by Nuno, is he going to stir it up again?

Winks is the new Lennon? Shows promise, plateaus out we start to think they're a busted flush then new manager finds a new gear in the player and they end up being a star again?

No idea, would be a shame to see him go as he clearly has a lot of passion for the club but if Nuno's not got him in his plans then might be a better idea to move on.

I never slaughtered Danny Rose. What is Winks supposed to have said anyway?
I should re word it as I meant in general and not you in particular. I was just trying to demonstrate the conflicting views to players, for doing the same thing

Poch used him as a single pivot in a diamond so if anything at least under Jose he had better protection so that doesn't wash with me.

Plays the odd good game, always been to negative, holds well, but distribution average at best, shooting skills, 2 out of 10. Would be better suited at Crystal Palace, Brentford. YIDO through and through, but time to move on.

I doubt it. Nuno isn't Jose. I doubt he'll be bawling players out in the press and being a 24-carat prick.
