Btw, was reading through some reviews of the Belgium game over the weekend and I think I'll be more than okay to pass on Tielemans.

The Belgian fans were saying he's consistently bad for them and Monaco fans chimed in and basically reiterated that saying he has been a major disappointment for them the past 2 seasons. Think he's still living off his hype from a couple of years ago.

The vast majority of people who hyped him up so much have probably never even seen him play anyway but he was great for them on FM2015 or something so they act like they know him. I'm not saying he doesn't have talent or that he won't make it, I'm just saying I think a significant amount of the hype is based on the fictional representation of him on the game rather than what he's actually done in real life.

Can't believe we didn't go for Ross Barkley, the guy wanted to come and turned down Chelsea at first.
Now he's looking good for England.
Another fuckin bad judgement call by our scouting team

I would of played Barkley in the midfield 2, behind moura.
For 8 mill it was a steal, would help our homegrown quota and we wouldn't look as weak with the moose and big vic injured

I must of been watching a different game, Barkley was 1 of the worst players on the day, and did nothing of note that made me wish we had signed him.

I actually wanted us to sign him at the time

We didn't take a punt on him because his hamstring looked like a burst sausage at the time. I can believe that.

Well he passed a medical at Chelsea.
Would understand it if he failed a medical with us, but we didn't bother

I believe he had some decent highlights as well, with a couple of long range goals.

Disagree. The money they wanted for him and his injury situation at the time it would've been mad to agree to. The fact that he has worked out alright for Chelsea doesn't mean it was the wrong decision for us at the time

I repeat he passed a medical at Chelsea or are our medical team so good they can just look at a guy and tell the extent of his injuries

You're right it was 15 million.
Still a good price for an England international.
Especially with our homegrown issues, don't forget we bid 25 mill for grealish, who hasn't exactly lit up the championship this season
