Is it too late
to rain on this parade?
Winter transfer window
should be bricked up.
Great poem until the last line
I would have gone with
Is it too late
To rain on this parade
Winter Transfer window
Is just a charade
Is it too late
to rain on this parade?
Winter transfer window
should be bricked up.
Why does it matterIs it too late
to rain on this parade?
Winter transfer window
should be bricked up.
Why does it matter
what people chatter
Isn't it all fun and games
to kill the pains
fee fie fo fum fretThe rhyme scheme
AABB is a little outdated
ABAB is more sophisticated.
But it's a start
and gives us something to work on.
fee fie fo fum fret
participating in this slam
do not make me regret
i dont give a damn
Can you lot shut the fuck up with this nonsense bollocks pls?
Jimmy be migrating out of the poetry closet right nowPoetry Corner
Now isn't this more interesting
and dare I say 'fun'
than speculating on foreign 'aces'
who few have heard of
and who won't be coming anyway.
It occurs to me
that there is a vacancy
for a Poet Laureate at the moment
following the end of Carol Ann Duffy's
the first woman in 340 years,
ten year term.
The Job Description is as follows
A poet laureate (plural: poets laureates) is a poet officially appointed by a government
or conferring institution, typically expected to compose poems
for special events and occasions.
Benjamin Zephaniah is not applying
so an opportunity for someone on SC
I, like Bejamin, won't be up for it
as a 10 year stint is probably outside
my eta at the Pearly gates.
The following is a list of Poets Laureate
sine Dryden held the first post.
As you can see it's a bit of rag-bag
so don't be afraid to apply.
I am happy to help.
Just send your application to me
with the 25 pound fee.
and I will pull strings
with my poetry colleagues.

Can you lot,
shut the fuck up
with this

bollocks pls?
I’d like us to trade players if we won’t net spend. If HG is critical then after watching yesterday I’d like us to try and sign Wan Bissaka and fund it by selling Trippier. He looks ike someone who genuinely could be an upgrade on Walker, pace, strength and calm in the final third.
Just had a fantastic game against Barca. Scored a lucky goal and was the centre of everything good going forward for Betis who won 4-3.What do you think of Lo Celso as an alternative to De Jong??
He's been doing really good so far at Betis. (He's on loan from PSG btw)
I disagree, Trippier is a current international who had a great tournament and has made a load of assists this season. His price should be similar to Walker. Palace can ask what they like but the right price for a player with lots of potential but only 6 months league experience isn’t above 35m and they desperately need funds to buy a forward or they are going down, in which case they will have to fire sell everyone in the summer.Reckon the bids for Trippier will be at 25m, while Palace will ask for 70m for their best player Bissaka
