Very much doubt it, one he's underrated and two we need to keep enough homegrown and Walkers the best of them.

Also there's Adam Smith coming up the curve and should be tearing up the championship this season.

So if Walker is moved on we have a ready made replacement already at the club. Not to mention Naughton who for me hasn't really put a foot wrong when he's played although maybe not quite as dynamic.

Being greedy I still think a quality striker is required if Adebayor is moved on. Just in case Soldado is injured/suspended or requires a rest. Interested to see the selection for tonight and if Kane/Lancaster/Coulthirst start. If one of those can perform in the first team then potentially AVB will give them more of an opportunity a la Townsend and they can bridge that gap.

Walker is coming on just fine for a 23 year old full back IMO.

Left back is a big concern. Although with Chiriches, I suppose Jan can help plug that gap - but far from ideal.

Exactly FB is the hardest position for you g players, walker is progressing just fine!

As for Smith people keep saying he can replace Walker, but he wasn't a regular at Wall last season and he's struggling to be first choice at Derby. He clearly isn't an upgrade on Walker.

Left back and No.10 but with the latest on Eriksen and Coentrao those positions may be sorted very soon.

Naughton was in the team of the year during his loan in the Championship, while Walker lasted 6 months for a top Championship team before getting a loan move to the Prem because he was too good for that level.

Smith is some way behind.
