This is a tricky one as this comp has become so important to our season yet we really need to rotate to protect some players like PEH - esp. with a very difficult game at Wet Spam on Sunday (and thanks FA for giving us the early KO on Sunday!!)
I agree, actually it seems like all our focus is on Carabao Cup final, but to me this should be regarded more important

yes true, the cup competitions are so important given our league form while the Carabao would end our long trophy drought. Shame we may not be facing the city team of a few months ago! While I don’t think we’re good enough to win the CL looking at some of teams left in the competition, we did manage to reach the CL final so anything is possible!

Let hope and pray to the football gods that we have a very good night. Turn errors into goals and the bland into sublime.
Us supporters have been seduced into this awful way of playing, a falsehood which doesn't seem to reap rewards. However, Europe may be our saviour, our guiding star on the football horizon. Lets go for it tonight (as Everton minus errors) - we have nothing to lose.

Start with our strongest team tonight and again against WHU and again the next match and so on. All this rotation business is a myth-keeping everyone happy is tur
I just can't wait to see BERGWyn and HojBERG in the line up against WolfsBERGer
They will be playing Ketchup.

and hope we don't get a grilling.

Vinicius, Hojbjerg, Ndombele all on the bench.

Got to feel for Vini, he must be absolute shite in training.

Tottenham starting XI: Lloris, Doherty, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Son, Bale, Moura.

Europa competitions are all about away goals, just need to attack them from the start. Losing 3-2 would be better than a 0-0 draw.

sorry, but just NO. Losing 3-2 is not better than 0-0 - end of.

You're getting confused my friend :)

Vini not starting is a shame.
Doherty, Alli, Winks and Bale feel like some level of a last chance saloon kind of thing.

Dier hopefully can get a confidence boost here as there's still a good player there (just makes too many mistakes so needs to weed them out)

Honestly not sure I can face Winks-Sissoko in midfield again.

Also, with Son, Lucas and Dele all starting our ball retention in the final third might be appalling. Understand the need for rotation and glad Kane is rested but that's a risky lineup from Jose too.

Bit worried about Son burning out too, he's played 5 full matches (including 120 mins v Everton) in a row before this.
