At 1-0 v Watford, at 1-0 up v Inter, at 2-1 up v PSV, at 3-0 up v Wolves we looked very professional, but once we conceded a goal we looked far from it. Can't figure it out. Show signs of the team we are, but have mental lapses and can't close out the game with ease.

Also, we need to value clean sheets. We don't and that more than anything will see us and has seen us drop points.

Poch brought Eriksen on to get on the ball and keep possession. That did not happen.

Our players are mental snowflakes. I can't remember the last time we had anyone with any semblance of mental toughness!!

Very disappointed with Toby tonight, 2nd half we needed him to show his experiance and leadership and he showed neither.

Eriksen needs a rocket put up his backside, the moment he came on we effectively went down to ten men. I know he’s just coming back from injury, but he should at least show some energy.

I am sure I will get downvoted, but today shows why it was complete lunacy not to strengthen in the summer.

Trippier and Davies are not the level we need. Trippier can cross, but neither are good defensively. We should have got a new LB and played KWP more often. Hilarious that some people thought Trippier is a better RB than Walker.

Pretty much everyone could see our midfield was a weak link and only an injury or two away from being fucked. Well, here we are. Dembele is on his last legs, Wanyama is a shadow of the monster from two seasons ago, Sissoko has improved but is not a midfielder, Winks is still inexperienced and looking after that ankle.

Today it was like we didn't even have a midfield.

Yes, a top-quality CM would have been expensive. Guess what?! It'll be even more expensive next summer! And we'll probably need two! Fat fucking chance.

Can't imagine thinking Skipp would have been the key to that game. You can't throw a kid into that madness at the end.

About 25 yrs ago, I think I was watching us v Peterborough or something. Actually I think we scored in 20 secs, and ended up winning on pens after a 1-1 finish. YES guys that was fun! I finished my anguish by asking my mate if he wanted a fag, yes he said, only to dip my hand in to find my ski jacked pocket, full of a Spurs supporters stinking piss.
Never ever thought that'd make me happy. Does now.Fuck all to do with the game, just thought i'd share.

Not sure why Son and then Moura went off. Wolves are going to throw the kitchen sink at it, even if they aren't playing particularly well why take off your counter attack weapons? For me that just helps the opposition and gives them encouragement.

People have to remember we lost Dembele after 3 minutes so our whole set up and tactics changed in that instance. We were basically playing Winks in midfield on his own in midfield in a 4141 formation. It was no surprise when he got tired our game went to pieces.

Yep. Also, for basically the whole game we had a midfield partnership of Winks and Sissoko, a centre back with his first Premier league start and a host of not only just players but starting eleven players out, I'll take any sort of win.

Fantastic for us to get three points in a match where even at full strength many would call very difficult and also at a place where even City didn't manage a win.

I am not laying any blame whatsoever on Juan Foyth for that, the person to blame is Keiran Trippier.

The “support” he offered a young player making his PL debut was absolutely disgraceful.

Trippier has had a terrible season thus far and I hope that Aurier rightfully takes his spot.

Especially screaming at him! Can’t tell he was rattled, what happened to putting an arm around him and picking him back up!... always the same with him! He smacks of Arrogance and I think the World Cup has made him notninly believe his own hype but too him to a ridiculous level of self belief

IMO the problem was earlier than that. Dembele off, Son on was a weird one there and then.

We got away with that one for sure. Every team has at least one lucky game a season and that was ours. They had a perfectly good offside goal ruled out too. What turned out to be our winning goal was more than a tad lucky (or rather Wolves unlucky) with the lucky bounce before Lamela cut it back and then the keeper saving to a place Kane could get a second bite of the cherry (although credit both Lamela and Kane for quickly reacting).

Lloris pulled off a few good saves and Costa missed a sitter for them.

That said we are suffering from an unbalanced mess of a side due to injuries and you sense it really is a case of us staying as close to top four as possible until January.
I agree. Said skipp should come on when Dembele got injured.

2 up was just the super obvious time to do it, having not done it up till then.

I don't think either will be at Spurs next season and it shows in their performances.

I hope beyond hope that today was the last we will see of Trippier. Horrible defender and his reaction at Foyth was nothing short of a disgrace. I've had it with him.
Im sure he'll be inconsolable when he finds out.

Can't dig out Trips and not Foyth

Winks was utter dog, our CM is non-existant

Winks was left on his own in CM for 87+ minutes. Sissoko should of joined him in there when Son came on but didn't.
Poor organisational stuff by Poch that could quite easily of cost us today.

Foyth will inevitably get the stick for two split second errors of judgement, but both across the park and from the sidelines the game management was pretty rancid in the second half. 3-0 flattered us to start with.

A sigh of relief at the three points. But a bit of a steal there today. Doesn't seem to make much difference though, however unconvincing and off our best we seem to be, we're up in the top 6 and that group is settling and pulling away again. If we want to kick on though, it's got to get better.
I agree, he was a little naive in the first one and I thought he was very unlucky in the second because it was more shoulder-to-shoulder than a barge. But he was put in that position by two stupid pieces of play.

First, and this is inexcusable and I hope Poch collars him for this, Trippier did one of the most moronic things you can do and tried to play it off the defender for a throw by kicking it back into the danger area!! Poch was ranting a few moments after that and I hope it was in regards to that because it was quite simply pathetic. Second, Winks, despite being surrounded by Wolves players tried to pass it to another player only two yards away who was being covered by a Wolves player, when simply he could have turned and switched play. I'll cut Winks a bit of slack as I thought he was largely very good, but Trippier is really lucky Aurier got injured when he did because he's offering very little in terms of defensive contribution other than these stupid mistakes.

And breathe. Well played Sissoko, Lamela, Winks and Lucas, I thought their positive play won us the game today. They were very incisive and moved the ball into space very well. Kane, not at his best but he still is decisive. Sonny, a little unlucky, he played well mostly but had to be sacrificed.

We do lack some protection or some stability when defending, which is annoying as under Poch we've been very reliable and in previous season we'd have gone on to win that by 4 or 5, just by simply being too tough to break down.

I'd have been over the moon with a win and still am very happy but I'm concerned about how easy we are to cut open nowadays. We desperately lack an enforcer who can screen the front and allow Winksy to be more box-box.
