Hamstring strain....

so its being said.

Hope he just pulled out because he saw what the team was like and didn't want to risk it.

Woody's got a tight hamstring so he's not even made the bench.

Would prefere that to him playing the last 10 mins and being out for the rest of the season with a dodgy hammy

What a load of honk. I gave up after 80mins as i was falling asleep. Glad Woody wasn't involved. International Football is so yesterday. Prem and Spurs is where it is at

England could very much have used Aaron Lennon from the subs bench tonight.

By some remarkable prescience, I knew it would be shite, so I caught up with 'He Kills Coppers' instead, and then watched Sugarlump making wankers squirm.

Would rather none of our players play in a meaningless friendly and risk getting injured. God knows, we've a hard enough job keeping Woodgate fit as it is.

No Ireland game = week off for Robbie too which is good.

I expected more from france

Yeah, but I'd say the club managers, esp those with players challenging for league titles, (Lyon and Bayern) would have told their players to take it easy cause there are more important games ahead. Understandable really.

When I saw the starting CM of Hargreaves and Barry I knew we were in for a poor game. Add to that a RW who isn't going to run down the RW very much.

Switched over at half time because I couldn't take anymore. When we don't have a big un up front we just cannot retain the ball because none of our midfielders are particularly comfortbale in possesion. And Beckhams possibly the worst culprit with his constant long balls.

I'm happy that none of our players was involved in that confiednece-crushing display last night. A far cry from a year or so ago when an England game ended with FIVE Spurs players on the pitch.
