Proud of Davinson Sanchez today. Stayed out of all the diving and cheap shots going on and was the best player on the pitch for me. In fact, I would struggle to find a better CB in this years World Cup. Really rebounded after that first game and has been immense.

I have to admit I can't remember ever being so passionate when watching England. In past years they've bored me so much I've just thought it's served them right when losing. Probably largely down to Kane being captain and the there Spurs lads but boy, that felt fucking good!

I just can't believe that they got away with so much in the first half especially. Hopefully the latter stages will.see some proper football.

It's really hard to judge England vs these teams.that niggle and cheat. That said, I am.concerned about our lack of progressive play. Kane wasn't really in that game.in the striking sense. He played some great passes and ran his balls off, but he doesn't get any service high up the pitch. Which is criminal.

Thought Maguire was really good. Trippier was decent and played some.lovely passes.

Lingard was average but at least he tries to get the ball forward.

Henderson might not be pirlo, but with a lack of other options he does the best and we look poor in this system without him.
