Good but should be 2 or 3 up.

Wish they would stop faffing about at the back, Spursy.

The casual passing to Pickford stresses me out. But we have the better chances. Need to find out shooting boots.

Young needs to be more alert. Looks way too casual at times.

Ref has been ok, but a bit lenient with Croatia who are being a bit too physical at times. Did I already mention that Lovren is a c bomb? He seems really rattled. Which is good.

Think we've been better than we have in the last few games. Dele's been more involved and generally better, Kane has gotten on the ball more and utilised it well other than the one on one and Sterling has been a good outlet for us a few times. So happy to see another Spurs player and Trippier get a goal!

Can actually see goals in us, just hope we capitalise.

Probably already been mentioned but Jordan Henderson is shit, makes me dream of mark noble.

Ashley Young is also not a left back, how many times has he been dispossessed.

Spurs lads playing well.

I hate the way they've used Kane in this World cup, Lingard and Sterling never pass to him, he's effectively there to move the ball on to Sterling, and you wonder why when he actually does get a chance in open play he snatches at it.

Criminally underused.

Loving that he's still winning me money for Golden boot but still could've been so much better if the dribble twins could pass.

Whenever Modders recieves the ball, he has to be made to pass under heavy pressure...every time.

That should be a key part of our strategy.
Tbf Henderson and Alli keep switching well to stay right on top of him. Feel he's been kept pretty contained.

Pretty good half, playing with a lot of composure. Decision making and final touch in the final third letting us down a bit though (especially Sterling, who's runs have been good but he has no idea when to give a pass or sees a picture of what is around him), and the most uncomfortable we've looked is in moments where we've lacked a bit of concentration - a loose pass, or trying to find someone rather than clear the lines, or momentarily switching off and losing a marker. Not bad, but a lot of football to go.....

You mean he's been playing a Sheringham role?
