Not sure, however there's enough controversy that's causing breaks in play to not warrant the three minute breaks anyway.

I thought I read somewhere that FIFA had done away with continental quotas for referees, but it really seems as if this isn't the case. Today's ref is Colombian, if anyone's interested.

Blatter has asked for 2 challenges during matches, I say don't stop there and lets go fully american, get rid of flags on a stick and have like the nfl with the linesman throwing a yellow flag on the pitch for extra drama.

Also mic up the ref and have him tell the stadium why he did his decision.

Its a much better system than our current one.

Well in theory, if FIFA have tried to fix it so that Brazil win the cup, a draw in this game would be the ideal result.

Though it's looking more like it's going to be a world cup of amateur referring instead.
