Lots of best of, worst of threads today so here's another.

Rory Allen
Neale Fenn
Andy Booth
Gregor Raziak
Ian Moores
David Jenkins
Les Ferdinand ( let's face it he was crap for us )
Colin Lee
Steve Slade
Lee Barnard
Gary Doherty
Paul Stewart ( woeful up front )
Helder Postiga
Bobby Zamora
Alan Brazil (for us )
Gerry armstrong

If I was pushed I would have to put Ian Moores at the top of the list . I would leave out Booth and Raziak because they were short term panic signings.

How is Ferdinand in your list, 33 goals in 118 league games is good enough IMO, especially as our team were shit for the 6 years he was here. It's a disgrace to mention him alongside Rasiak.

Harsh to have Sir Les listed. Granted he wasn't as good for us as he was for Newcastle and QPR but he was still a lot better than the rest on the list.

I remember Allen, Fenn, Doherty, Slade, Rasiak, etc., so I have to say Andy Booth because I have actually managed to purge myself of all memories of him ever playing for us.

40 goals in 68 for Newcastle. That's what we expected from him. 33 goals in 118 for us represents a huge disappointment. Ok he is not the worst but there are a few strikers on that list who are crap ( he is not one of them ) but he was one that under performed. Colin Lee with 18 from 62 did better and nobody thinks he was any good.

Lee Barnard? Loads of goals in the reserves but unfortunately never made toe step up. If he's there then you've got to include all the players who were rubbish for the reserves, too. Right?

Well yes it is a bit harsh I agree - he only played 3 times for us. But now he has found his level at Southend.

Doherty. How in the world a manager could ever play him as a striker, I will never know.

And Rasiak comes a close second.

Mentionning Les Ferdinand among the worst ever is disgraceful. His goal ratio was average but he did a huge amount of holding up work and did a lot for the team. £6m at that stage of his career was ill advised but he did a lot more than younger players for a similar fee like Armstrong did for Spurs.

Doherty is a good shout and I have no idea how Steve Slade ever got a ame for us.

Ian Moores at least scored a few goals and Ferdi, though underachieving, was not such a bad striker considering all the injuries he had etc.

Dave McEwan must be the least talented striker having played for Spurs.

Bit harsh including youth team players who were thrown in at the deep end during injury crises.

Of the senior players, the worst I have seen have been:

1) Rasiak
2) Booth
3) Bent

Gotta be Andy Booth... actually I remember us having an Ivorian on trial who was terrible a few summers back, Dagui Bakari?

Rasiak and Booth have to be an equal level of terrible, I honestly don't even remember booth playing say that speak volumes and Rasiak played plenty of games and never managed to score (aside his Liverpool debut but that doesn't count)

Sergei Rebrov, anyone? He came here with a lot of high expectations and we paid £11m (approx.) of wasted dosh on him. He ranks as my worst ever Spurs striker.

Rasiak, who was also a big, big failure only cost us £1m and we recouped some of it back when he left.
