Would you take a point right now against Chelsea?

The important thing for me is not only that we get the 3 points, but to ensure they get none and put some points between us and them

I can't wait to see Modric score against them. That's so going to make my night.

I would take a point but I feel as long as we have VDV, Modric and either Parker or Sandro I feel we could get all three.

As inexperienced as Romeu may be, he has looked class for them. Breaks up play well, has great vision and rarely stops the ball. Every time that ball is at his feet he knows what he is going to do with it.

David Luiz is a big player for them too. Ok, the press have absolutely hammered him, but Chelsea play a high line and he is required in the center for that high line as he's the only center back they have with pace! How the press have criticised him so much and not John Terry is beyond me. John Terry makes a couple of hard challenges and he's gods fucking gift in the press.

Regardless of their form, Chelsea have it in them to graft results out and also to turn up and not let teams play, which is why I would take a point against them. They're not shit, they're just not doing what they were a couple of seasons ago. That Mata is quality too.

They havn't been playing a high line lately....hence their mini revival, playing to the likes of Terry's strengths.

They'll not play a high line at WHL either, not in a million years.

I've had such a boner over the '6 pointer' nature of this game that I had completely forgotten about the Modric/Chelsea saga.

Absolutely mouth-watering.

The thing that bothers me is that Webb is the ref. Bad things tend to happen when he's around.

Chelsea will be going all out against us. They NEED the win, a draw does them no good due to our game in hand over them. So yeah I would take a draw but I feel the game is there for the taking, I have a feeling we will not see much of the ball in the first half. We just need to take our chances when we get them.

Yes, as long as the performance is promising and some of our squad/young players shine. We can be a bit unlucky, but a good performance will bode well for the rest of our season.

Mentally though, we need to demand the win no matter who we have missing. There's no doubt Chelsea will come right at us from the start, since we've shown we can be rattled and take some time to claw our way back in. So we have to go for their throat from the kick-off.

As always, We will be going for 3 points, nothing less. We believe we can beat anyone on the day and that's the best way to be.

I would hope so too. I'd hate it if we went out and tried to play for a point. We should play our own style.

But I won't shit myself if we only get a point. Unless it's due to throwing away a 2-0 lead or them grabbing a last minute equaliser.

I would love us to beat Chelsea.... Chavski, sorry.

We can and should be beating them and if we are to have a chance of getting into the CL or winning the title, then we have to win these games and put points between us.

A draw would be fine as long as we came from behind, but a win is really a must, it is a 6 pointer between us.

Last thing I want to hear at work, is 3 point lane :bang:

It has been 3 point lane since Sept, 3 points for the mighty spurs that is!

Would be disappointed with a point when I think we all really feel we can win.

Having said that, it's always tight - last season we just got away with it when Gomes made up for his error.

Shame Lennon is out as he usually does well against them but we still have the players in all departments to do it.

Hope we're not setting ourselves up for a fall!

I'm v worried about ridiculous refereeing by Webb

If I had to choose now (which is the point of this thread, believe it or not) with the doubts over our key players, I would take a point

I've dreamed many many times that I play for Spurs and have scored the winning goal in key games.

It's never occurred to me to put any money on it tbh
