Harry Rules Out Sol Move

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out making a shock move for Sol Campbell.
Campbell is a free agent following his ill-fated short spell at League Two club Notts County.
The 35-year-old quit County after just one game with the club cancelling his five-year contract at Meadow Lane.
Rumours have suggested that Redknapp, who is a massive admirer of Campbell having worked with him at Portsmouth, could make a move for the central defender in January when the player is free to join another club.
However, Redknapp has moved quickly to dismiss any notion of a deal by claiming the bad blood that still exists as a result of his move from Spurs to Arsenal in 2001 would make any deal impossible.
Writing in his column in The Sun, Redknapp said: "Some people are already claiming I am now going to sign Sol. Well, let's nail that one straight away - it ain't going to happen.
"I said during the summer that, if I was the boss of any other Premier League club, I'd sign Sol like a shot.
"That statement still applies today. But there is no way in the world Sol is ever going to play for Spurs again.

Bad feeling

"There is simply too much bad feeling towards him from the fans at White Hart Lane.
"It would be too much hassle for him, for me and the club. Anyway, I couldn't sign him even if I wanted to because of the regulations.
"Sol is now a free agent but Premier League clubs can't sign any players unless they were out of contract in the transfer window."

Did anybody see the Bulls v Jazz game on the BBC. They were talking to Defoe and asked him if he would welcome Campbell back and he said he would and that so would the rest of the squad. He did admit though that the fans would struggle to welcome him back

I'm sure its different for the players than the fans though. I wouldn't expect Defoe to say "no i wouldn't want that **** back at this club" to be honest. He's actually spoken to Wenger about training with them, so it 100% wont happen.

Yeah I did, 'My mate Sol' Defoe actually sounded quite drunk, Defoe is right though I am sure the squad would welcome him bach but the fans (me included) would struggle.

Did you see Bent talk about Ledley fancying himself on the court? Probable not the best way to rehab a knee with no cartilage

Yeah I did. I'm no physiotherapist but I doubt basketball is part of his rehab.
