I would rather eat dog shite than see him in a Spurs shirt.
so immotive this subject for me. A young sol came to the hospital (with Mabs) to see my kid brother and some of the spurs stuff they brought with them was even buried with him after his lost his battle. I can't hate anyone that has done that and said the kind things he said. There should be room in all your hearts and lives for redemption.
This does put things into perspective a bit, but while I can understand where you are coming from, the majority of fans have not had this experience, hence the vitriol still coming from fans 8 years later.
but I do understand where you are coming from mate, and I wish I didn't feel this hatred for him still.
EekI reckon he'd go anywhere that paid him enough. I reckon he'd join the KKK for the right financial package.
You should feel how you want to feel. In fact i'm envoius of being able to have that much hate about something that is so out of my reach. I wish i hadn't had to go through what I had, so I could be as vitriolic about football and films and other bits relative crap.
I would give almost anything to have Me and Mikey standing in the park lane end together booing Campbell. But i can't so i feel how i do and that man was kind when he didn't have to be so i forgive his career choices and how he went about them.
Nice one.abSOLutely not.
Your family and you clearly went through something horrible, and amidst that you have a positive memory as a result of Sol, and it does put things into perspective.
You and any others with reason to have compassion for Campbell, I hope you do not take too much offence in the hatred shown towards him. I and others don't have reason to remember him in any way other than those that have been mentioned, if we did I am sure we would all be as forgiving as you.
