I don't get why people are posting this sort of stuff during the game where he has looked most lively since returning to us. Sure his shots have been poor but he is running well, finding space and getting chances. More games like this and I'm sure we would be closer to a better player.

That's exactly my point.....more games like this? Can we really afford to? We're trying to win a trophy here.

Bale isn't a winger anymore. More of a no 9 or 10. Doesn't have the legs.

I’ve seen no hatred toward Bale. In fact he’s had an easy ride considering he’s not hit form since rejoining. Not sure other players would get such favourable treatment.

You obviously haven’t been in the Bale thread lately.

We
My stream is obviously behind as I typed that way before he scored.............I still stand by my statement though
Well we don't exactly have much choice. Whats the point in paying all those wages and not trying to let him get into some kind of form that'll help us.

Secondly, he's doing better than people make out. Sure, everyone was expecting a superstar but he still pops up with goals/moments - decisive ones too (Stoke, Wycombe, Antwerp, Brighton).

He is getting into positions but he just needs that extra push to start to be more consistent.

Certainly no lack of application, but it does go to show that there is not an awfully big gap between Prem squad players with little playing time, and Championship first teamers on a bobbly half frozen pitch under floodlights.

Think we will now go on to get a couple more, but it's going to be hard to stop the long ball dropping to their units up front. Just need to pick up second balls a little quicker.

All we need to do is to keep their strong forward quiet and we'll walk this game.

We could have had 4 or 5 so far and they have had one chance. As much as everyone is moaning at how bad we are, we would be coasting on another day

I think we’ve played alright actually, apart from our finishing. Although we can’t handle that bloke who’s built like a brick shit house.

Tanganga isn't going to make it as a right back.
He just doesn't receive the ball well or have great dribbling.
I haven't seen him much of him but he seems more assured as a central defender.
Agreed, currently looks a bit like Kaboul playing right back.

However you feel there is no excuse for bringing Sherwood in here.
