Wycombe are my local team and I managed to go to the last tie and would of gone tonight so gutted to miss it!

That being said, they are playing well however we are lacking that little bit of quality in the final third, hopefully fitness tells in the second half as they haven’t played in 10 days or so...

They are my home town club too so have watched them quite a bit. I knew people would under estimate them.

And what's wrong with that? Isn't it a perfect beating stick for you guys too to slap Bale with if he couldn't even perform against a team rooted to the bottom of the championship?

I don’t give a shit if he performs against Wycombe Wanderers. Our academy products could probably perform just as well. He’s past his best. Said before he signed and he hasn’t proved me wrong yet.

Secondly, he's doing better than people make out. Sure, everyone was expecting a superstar but he still pops up with goals/moments - decisive ones too (Stoke, Wycombe, Antwerp, Brighton).

He is getting into positions but he just needs that extra push to start to be more consistent.

The guy is one of the most talented players on Spurs and hasn't been producing near his pay. Yet. His challenge seems to be mental and at a distance, he just hasn't seemed all that hungry. Whether that is confidence, the relief from being out of RM, or an injury, who knows. But what is clear that if and when, he gets into another gear, there still is someone who can change a game. I'm hoping that Jose can figure out how to help him get himself hungry.

Because he hasn't been fit enough to play, first time since he has been back he is picking the ball up and running with it and then not looking knackered for the next 10 minutes of the game.

Fitness isn’t an issue. He’s been for and left out of the team multiple times. He’s NOT GOOD.

And their wages combined probably total Bale’s. What’s your point?
Cause someone's wages dictates if they're the best player on the pitch? That's how it worked with ozil/ Willian/Aubamayang at the goons right?

I've never understood why certain fans are willing our players to fail and can't praise them when they should be praised.

Crazy we have to bring on the only reliable CM we have against Wycombe.
