Not good enough. Needs all the action to be about himself and at the end of the day doesn’t produce enough from it.

I prefer to judge a player on how he plays rather than how he looks.

There are positives and negatives to Shaqiri but a lot of the opprobrium he has received in this thread is unjustified. He's not fat, he just has the body shape of an achondroplastic dwarf. It used to be called a low centre of gravity and considered a good thing and it didn't stop Maradona and Aguero being quite good.

Would he suit Spurs style of play? Probably not, although he would be useful against teams that park the bus. Anyone who has watched Stoke this season would realise that Shaqiri is the cherry on top of the steaming dog turd that is Orc City.

Is he worth £12M? Yeah easily. At the very least we will get our money back if he doesn't work out.

The Tubby Messi, I'd take him. Better impact sub then sissoko, doesn't work as hard, but he'll cause a lot more issues to opposition defenses. And worst case scenario, levy will get 20 Mill for him from a shitty mid table side.

A pork sausage with shorts on would also be a better impact sub than Sissoko so, yeah... :woot:

Amazing that people think this transfer is somehow improbable.

This is a freshly relegated, international class player, available at a fraction of his true market value.

If that doesn't sound like a Levy special then I don't what does.

The scariest thing is that you're right. And that terrifies me.
