Bit of an oddity in his post-match interview - he said Chelsea "attack well and score a lot". That's not right.

Genuinely how do the in-game decisions work? For example, the subs - is it pre-planned Son for Deki if we're winning, or is he making these decisions? Not a clue how this all works but it is!

Stellini said after West Ham they talk with Conte over text message, he gave an example that they might ask to do a sub and Conte will approve on the player and the timing.

He's been brilliant, but how much does he rely on conte for discipline, albeit from afar?
The players know if they start taking advantage of him, conte could be back on the next flight to sort them out! (This might be Potter's problem - for all his strategies, can he control his players....).

Maybe this guy just has it, and could take us to the next level, but when conte leaves, it seems certain stellini is going with him.

I think he has made his bed as just being Conte's #2. It's not a bad gig especially when he is def getting paid a fortune as well as will be guarenteed work. If he says f it, becomes a manager, actually gets a top flight job and it doesn't work out. He will be stuck with nowhere to go. I love how much more aggressive we are in the press and hope it continues when Conte comes back.

From the outside it looked like players were happier when he was leading earlier~ not sure that's good or bad. It might mean the 'lazy' players were more content etc.
Hoping we have the wheels in motion for a permanent appointment for the new season close~
Ah well, another day....

I dont think we would see big tactical changes.
I hope an improvement in the team's morale is sufficient to give us better performances.
However without our competitors suffering some erractic form we are unlikely to get top 4.
So above all else, i hope he is lucky,

Massive mistake keeping Stellini, IMO. He's going to remain loyal to Conte and I don't expect there to be much change at all. I can't imagine the players are going to be anything other than underwhelmed by the news. It's just more of the same. Given it was clear to anyone with half a brain in Jan that Conte wasn't going to commit, we should have had a plan in place ready to go, but no, we're back to square one, floundering about, and Levy kicking the can down the road again.

Stellini (and Mason) is on a hiding to nothing.

I doubt we'll be seeing a change in system. The players have been training that way for a year under Conte and Stellini is very used to that style and formation.

Differences would be in the players he chooses to use and the his in-game management. He may adapt the style over the rest of the season but it's not going to be an immediate change.
