I'm guessing with all this fucking around and airing of dirty laundry Fat Sam is back in pole position to be the next manager. I can't imagine anyone else wanting the job with Dopey Daniel as head boy.

While this isn't surprising. What is perplexing is how the Chairman can say 'the buck stops with me', but the doesn't have the courage to fall on his sword. He's become an absolute embarrassment and made a fool of our club. Yet, he will remain in charge. Like some kind of despotic emperor.

I truly do not understand how he keeps surviving one catastrophe (usually self-inflicted) after the other. But there's no way to get rid of him.

Worst of all, these last three months have turned us into a legitimate laughing stock. Thereby hurting our chances of attracting a good manager and good players. All because of one person: Levy. Who wants to go to a club run by this imbecile?

I know but the problem is we are becoming like Chelsea. Whenever they didn't like or want a msnager they just stop playing and bingo they win. We are now just like that.
Fergie and United would never let player power dominate, thats why Keane and Ince etc were kicked out to stop power play by the players.
It"s a shame the way the game has become do player power focused in every way.
The game has changed sadly, Conte is as strong as either of them but he didn't last. They need a man manager like Poch or Redknapp who the players respond too.

I wouldn't read too much into the player committee stuff. I'm sure every club has them. They're just the leaders of the locker room who are the voice for the rest of the squad. The question is exactly what do the players want?
They wanna zig-a-zig-aaahhh.

I agree but this player power at clubs needs to.be stamped out.
We need a .major clear out of players as there is some poisonous players affecting team morale in my opinion. We need a complete overhaul like Poch did when he came in.
Problem is will.Levy sanction it. iMeans taking a loss on players and spending big i foubt he will.

Agreed. But it's progress at least - can't remember him ever admitting failures so bluntly. At least if the malaise continues he's got nowhere to hide and will probably have to offer his resignation.

I didn't want Poch back. I just hope they're 100% sure whoever they're courting comes in. Otherwise it'll be a nightmare for the board

Who exactly are these poisonous players that you've just invented?

I don’t ever get ITK normally, but I’ve been told by a few contacts at the club that Doris the tea lady has started doing her pro licenses, she’s realised that her time is nigh and wants to make good on the opportunity she’s waited for all this time.

It’s rumoured her assistant will be Alan, he’s 56 and he works at spurs pumping up the match balls.

That’s all I’ve got though guys, so no questions please 👍

To himself? Unlikely don't you think?

It's hard to tell really. I mean Lloris, Dier and Hojbjerg are part of this group yet they all were regular starters for Jose and Conte. Those are not managers who will play those with poor attitude or causing trouble. I think those players are just not great players but regular starters is the real issue. They're just the leaders of the pack which is also an issue when your poorer players are the leaders. It would be good to sell Lloris and Dier just to change the culture a bit. I'm not sure there is anyone I would call poison, I think it's just the level of quality in key areas why we're struggling so much. We have to be careful not to start conspiracy theories about a toxic dressing room.
