You know, there are some who visit and post here that seem to know the inner workings of the club though others of us do not think they do.

"Comolli is responsible for all transfers"........."Ramos does not get who he wants because Comolli makes the decisions"............."Jol was ousted on Comolli's say so"........"Jol had no say in transfer targets" .............. "Levy/Comolli mucked up on the last transfer window" (we have no idea what circumstances prevailed, just newspaper talk and some ITKs info who have been proven to not be 100% accurate).

None of us really know anything excepting some of us believe it is ludicrous to believe that the coaches have no input in transfer targets. We dont know for sure either but it is highly likely the coaches are very much involved.

So how is it that some posters here "know" who exactly did what? Do you? Do you really know the facts ? No.

Is it just convenient to make up who to blame for what ? Someone in particular's fault ?

Do we know exactly who does what? NO.

Probably, the only worthwhile debate on this kind of thing is whether or not the Club would be wise to open up a bit more on such happenings so as to lay to rest the "unrest".

Should they? Via the Tottenham Hotspur Trust?

OR is it our business? Are we just their customers?

OR in the football world are fans something different/more than just customers?

Would the intellectual information be too valuable to competitors if allowed out ?

If there are some answers then they will be welcomed but not just who said what in a newspaper.

Television or radio comments maybe acceptable though even then pieces are cut about, therefore altering the context of what one says (I have personal experience on that score).

Do you know what you're doing ?

Very True.

We dont know half the things that are going on in the background at spurs, who is control of what and whom is responsible for the signings of player X and the failure to sign player Z.

But what I do know...is that forums such as these would be very boring if we accepted all this and had nothing to debate as a result.

Fuck it, why dont we just print more money on paper and give it to all the poor countries so that everyone is equal and their are no issues in the world and so everyone can live in peace - the reason is because then the value of money would be pointless.

Hence, the value of having a forum in which you cannot discuss and debate these issues would also be pointless if we succombe to the idea that everyone has no idea what is going on and we are all wrong.

Comprendes!?

Yea ok but there are heaps of topics to debate instead of this endless "Its his fault"....."no his fault"..............and people acting as if they know stuff when they dont.

Yes?

no, they're expressing their opinion of the problems at WHL and their take on the reasons for it.

I am not sure any serious poster not claiming to be an ITK "posts as if they know the facts". (There are always some dickheads, but no-one pays them much attention.). Most people are careful to hedge their comments with caveats.

It is like any news story, you listen to the spin, weigh up the quotes, sift the rumours and watch how events pan out, then you come up with the version that seems to you to be most plausible.

mountain out of a molehill. of course it's opinion, unless you need a disclaimer saying 'IMO' at the bottom of everyone's posts

Well I thought the point of these forums was to express opinions and to pass on info, its up to the readers to decide if the info is significant or crap.

Do you know what you're doing ?

M8 if the management at the club don't know what they doing do you really think we do?

eddie bailey best reply so far

Your lack of punctuation in this reply makes it very difficult to decipher. If you are alluding to the fact that, in your humble opinion, Eddie Bailey's post was your favoured reply then why quote my post?

If, however, you are alluding to your dissatisfaction of my post then I apologise for posing my opinion to your post in as simple terms as possible.

What, in fact, I was referring to was the sheer hypocrisy in your original post, given the very definitive statement I had emboldened.

However, as has already been pointed out by Kendall, this is only my humble opinion:)

Yes I use a small hand held cell phone/computer and words seem to end up joined or not punctuated.

As thread starter I reckon eddie baileys response is the most plausible.
