Ledley has brought us so many great moments, what's your favourite?

THAT tackle on Robben, tackle on Huckerby, tackle on Pires, fastest goal of the Premier League, lifting the CC trophy is a few that comes to my mind. Please share yours :)

Tackle on Robben still gives me goosebumps.

Robben tackle for me, that was my first season following Spurs and I've probably watched that game half a dozen times.

Hard to pick just one. In addition to the tackles and goals there have also been sublime passes, dazzling little pieces of skill, and general mesmerising play. Legend.

This extract from a report on one of his legendary nights out

During the flare-up King also scoffed at Wahib for supporting Liverpool and belittled their skipper Steven Gerrard.
He ranted: “I play for Tottenham, you play for fat Gerrard.”

As much as we all don't like any of the goners, Henry did say the best defender he ever played against was Ledley. High praise from a great forward.

I remember him scoring a goal in front of me when I was in the Park Lane, I think it was against City but I can't quite remember, curled it in with his left foot.

I thought his performance when we beat City away 09/10 to clinch 4th was sublime. There was a lot of hype around Tevez and King had him in his back pocket. I remember the commentators (Martin Tyler was one I think) gushing about his quality.

I feel a weird mix of sad/grateful/proud.

Sad as he is my hero.

Grateful as he was such a player. A truly great defender. And he was our leader.

Proud as in the murky waters that is modern football, he showed loyalty, humility and appreciation for how lucky he was.
Fitting he is going to be involved in the clubs charity and community activities.

Squaring up to human shitbag Terry. The way Ledley squared up to him seemed to make Terry realise that he couldn't just bully his way through that match. And then the human equivalent of pus-filled bleeding acne got sent off. Beautiful! And then we won 2-1. Same game as the Robben tackle I think.
