A player who has been booked - number goes up to be subbed he starts to leave the pitch albeit very slowly and he is booked again and therefore sent off. Do you allow the sub on? The sub hasn't entered the field of play

I was asked this = not sure I know- I know what I would do but I am not sure its right

Yeah, no substitute allowed. He’s not left the pitch so the offence happened before the new player enters the game.

The sub is allowed, but not to replace the bloke who’s been sent off.

Who’s our next manager?

Sub not allowed if playing for Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd. Anyone else - fine. If it's West Ham, they have to nominate a 2nd player to also be sent off.
