This is the player we will sign. I expect hundreds of winners when this happens. For now, those who optimistic this post are virgins. You’ve been warned

This is the kind of profile signing we need to make - young, talented but one that needs moulding and guiding to get to the top level. We can’t compete for those already there, so we must take gambles and trust Poch to make a player out of him

"Tottenham consider move for Leicester City target Youri Tielemans"

"Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a dramatic bid..."

We're very good at thinking about signing players, less good at actually signing them ?

"Tottenham consider move for Leicester City target Youri Tielemans"...but need to sell before they can buy. French midfielder Georges N'Koudou does not feature in Maurizio Pochettino's plans but Spurs chariman Daniel Levy is thought to be holding out for a £25m fee for the out of favour player.

I would be more than happy to get him but it's quite sad because it's almost like the board/whoever it is is scrolling through the same twitter feeds that we are lol. News come out that Leicester are going in for a bid and Monaco would be willing to let him go for 20M - suddenly we're interested. If we really had identified him as a target why leave it to the bloody 29 of January? And if we're just out there reacting to other clubs movements and news coming out its management on par with the dildo brothers IMO.

It’s worth noting that he’s been appalling for Monaco.

If you put his Football Manager or FIFA stats to one side, he’s been terrible since moving to France and I’m confused as to why anyone wants us to make a move for him.

He's got so much natural talent and potential - he could become a very special player, he's still only 21.
At he absolute very least, he's a good rotation option for Winks.

Monaco are bottom of the french lge, this guys available on loan.
How would he be better than what we have if he can't get in their side?

He’s clearly got talent, Poch might be the man to bring it out imo.

This would be no N’signing, he’s played a shit ton of league games for his age and has Champions League experience as well. Still only 21.

There’s definitely something there to work with. If we can’t bring in top level players, then this is the type we should be targeting.

In all fairness, the entire Monaco team haven't performed this season. Facing relegation as we speak.

He's a talented player and like the idea of bringing him in but if this is our temporary solution I'm not to sure he is the right kind we're looking for

He was one of Henry's favourites too, which suggests to me he has the talent. Regardless of coaching ability I imagine Henry knows a good player when he sees one.

Stats seem pretty good in Ligue 1 and CL both offensively and defensively. Could thrive in a better team.

Because Monaco have been an abomination recently?

I feel sorry for the people who use the ‘he can’t get into their side’ argument.

He played well against us in the 2 legs vs Anderlecht, I haven't seem him besides that though.

£25m? Blimey. Be lucky to get half that.

Javier Mascherano couldn’t get in the West Ham team ahead of Hayden Mullins, sometimes all is not what it seems.....
And Alan Pardew is a tool

Don't get sucked into that line of thought Rob. It's entirely possible that there are a number of factors that we're all unaware of and you're ignoring the fact that he'll almost certainly improve for playing under Pochettino

Pretty sure we'll piss about until Rabiot turns us down at 11.59 and then say there was no time to do anything else. Sometimes I think the 'Fail aiming high' quote is a bit of a curse.

Fair enough A&C, not seen enough of this guy to know. Appreciate everyone's responses.

I would also add that every player we have a chance of getting will have some sort of "question mark" relating to them else they wouldn't be available for what we could afford.

We aren't getting big players playing at the top of their games. We have to take some sort of risk.

£20m is the price to Leicester. How much the price to Spurs?
