I'm going to give it a guess. But first, give me just one clue. How many children do you have?

I have to say, I'm quite dissappointed in JJ although I do realise that I have no right to be.

I'm addicted to the bullshit that is ITK. You might say 'Fuck off' to me then, which is an acceptable response and is something I would do only (as I said) I'm addicted.

I never considered it real information as we all know most of it doesn't pan out the way we are promised. So we hope and pray and most of the time end up disappointed. There are too many examples too pick out one, you are all aware of some. This has been the normal pattern of events for me over the last 7 or 8 windows. I accept it, never complained, and blamed myself for letting the mind games fool me. Its hard to ignore it if someone who claims to have contacts say these things, they give you hope and its the hope being dashed that annoys you.

And on the rare occasion it does pan out and the official site announces something you feel you already knew its nice but its not a surprise so you don't get a 'buzz' from it. Whereas if we didn't have any ITK it comes as a lovely surprise and you're kinda glad to be surprised with it. So i think the whole experience is actually a negative thing overall which is why I would like to quit reading up on it, but I can't. So I hope the conversational entertainment makes up for it and thanks to you guys it usually does.

But what annoyed me about yesterdays JJ post was that we all got suckered in again. I spent all of yesterday pinching myself with excitement and he got it badly wrong. I've started to doubt him now, not because he doesn't know his stuff, but because I think he's enjoying his own reputation too much. Not being specific about the player he was talking about says a lot to me. I think he has not been totally honest, either about his original confidence or something else. He shouldn't have said anything yesterday but I get the feeling he enjoyed putting us into meltdown. He says he regrets it now and I accept that but if he enjoys the buzz of winding us up its only logical he'll be tempted to repeat the experience and go down the road some others have. I'm talking cryptics here. He seems like a decent fella but he fucked up and its only right to lose some rep for it. He's not the insider professional I gave him credit for being.

We all were happy to admit most ITK was bullshit, and so we tricked ourselves and we created a new 'premier division' of ITK's that were 'special' and put JJ, aqukaid (?) and POTL in it (seemingly), and now they have all let us down at some point by getting too wound up in they're own rep. Nice guys they maybe but what they do creates waves and if they enjoy they're rep they need to realize that they have a duty to keep earning it. There's no special division, they've proved it. Its all part of our addiction. Its distracting me from my exam's (Grrr) and I wish I could ignore it.

Best of luck to you guys that don't. If they all quit tomorrow, would we really miss them? I think not. We might miss the chat that follows though....

I think the biggest shame is that something can get so far even without detection and still go boom!

The deal had complexities for sure. But when you realise how close real are to signing modric, youll also appreciate how close we were to completing our part.

The only part I can't understand, is the bit that's JJ's fault. I just can't find it.

The only people that actually got hurt here, are the ones that pretend to know stuff with their work mates via JJ's knowledge. It's these people that are left without an explanation.

Its a shame that some people can't take this thread for what it is.

I for one would be sorry to see the 'ITK's' 'run out of town' wether they are respected or percieved as WUM's.

No wonder you have been distracted from your exams by writing major works on here...

I was reminded the other day that Twitter is just what you take it for. Do not believe any of it and then you may be pleasantly surprised at some stage. But at the end of the day the blame is with oneself (note I didn't say yourself) by being taken in with it all. The comments fueled a feeding frenzy. Maybe you'll/we'll learn from it for next time.

Oh, and the best idea is also to form your own opinions of the various ITK's, but maybe not broadcast them to all too much. That sort of thing ends in tears.

JJ/Akqa/All ITK's that post directly here, must fall over in fits of laughter at the utter hysterics both good and bad that ensue on this site.

As a Newbie I don't post much, but I do follow the ITK thread and Twitter thread very closely. I am old enough (55+) and wise enough not to take any post as gospel, nor to dismiss any ITK post as a complete falsehood.

If I was to offer any advice, it would be this :

'The wise old owl sat in the oak,
the more he heard the less he spoke,
the less he spoke the more he heard,
let's all be like that wise old bird'

Last days was very exciting.
Rather get pumped for something and then it fall through, than just nothing happening every day.
Thats the point of ITK, they pass a little info and some happen some dont.

its funny people blaming itks and jj in this instance but with regards this itk i dont think it was going to happen in first place. no player at madrid wud join spurs not even ones who cant get a game there. it was exciting gettingthe tweet off jj about a world class signing but in all honesty yours truly never really believed any world class player would sign.

we havent turned up tree's this window again though and back to pre season with only defoe as only striker at club. money talks and we shit out of luck.

with that modric deal we should have just as a club said months ago when we knew we were not in champions league to say fuvck it ' inter take 40 million for leandro and oscar and be done with it'. everything is dragged out with spurs to get max publicity and all the bullshit that comes with it. we look weak in midfield depth , striker situtation is a real worry 2 imo even if we sign adebayor. interesting few weeks ahead but without money spurs are getting blown out of water left right and center.

any top player or supposed top player we are been linekd is going elsewhere and im sure agents arent even dealing with us till all other options are exhausted.
