yeh but the Brazilian press mostly tend to be further behind than the European ones on this front.
There is plenty regarding the president speaking about Leandro and saying no bids. And also speaks about us making bids in the past. Really do not believe we have bid 11 million.

So it wasnt Ade Which is handy as hes joining As I said two weeks ago before lockdown-Ade and Leandro. Plus one special guest. As you were.

(It wasn't ade was in response to ade abusing a spurs 'fan' on twitter who called him greedy, reports say his account was hacked.)

Got to love the term 'special guest' term. No doubt whoever else signs will be claimed to be the special guest.

The Jesus deal was dead but has been resurrected. A lot of hanging around. Injuries to hands and feet (Charlie Adam) but they've healed up nicely and he's at Spurs Lodge this evening for a medical. You read it here first. Can't reveal my sources.
Just gotta take this one on faith huh?

What i dont understand with General Levy is that we previously had a policy of buying potential before the precocious talent makes it big. If the media is to be believed, we have been linked with Damaio for 18 months, from which point LD's profile has continued to grow, so it stands to reason that we will now have to pay a higher fee in order to secure the deal.

Because we reportedly bid around £18m last season. Inter rejected and maybe DL wasn't sure if LD was worth £20m+. He gave him 1 extra season to develop and is now defo worth the money. It's fine buying potential like Aaron Lennon for £1m but paying £20m+ for potential is not in our nature.

Leandro Damião's agent: "I am here in England & there may well be a new offer from Tottenham for Damião, but nothing is official yet."

I take your point that 18mn on potential is a big gamble, but we have bided so much time that LD's value has increased and the fee needs to be paid to secure him. Cut the foreplay levy and spunk some cash on this guy.

Vinicius Prates told Terra: "I am here in England and there may well be a new offer from Tottenham for Damião, but there is still nothing official - only speculation."
Internacional vice president Luciano Davi also confirmed that no bid had been received, but indicated that the club would consider a sale if the player wished to depart.
Davi said: "There has been no official offer for Damião. We don't intend to sell him because we have problems in attack, but we can't rule out a sale. It will depend on the will of the player. Damião has already proved himself to be worth much more than €20 million.

Ade, what can I say, we have matched his wages, now he is being greedy and playing silly buggers with Citeh.
