Maybe City have to send off their end of the paperwork to confirm the transfer, and he's not officially ours till then? Which would put the brakes on him training with us etc.
A tiny part of me worries though, now that this has been agreed in principle...is there anything to stop City from holding out on confirming it all until August 31st and messing up our first few games?

Never understood why they have to shift Ade in order to get in RvP? they can easily pay Ade for the next 2 years and just have him doing nothing. Havent the ffp rules been pushed back to 2015?
I'm sure if they are behaving unreasonable then we could go to court.
This happened over the Corluka transfer from Citeh as well. Shinawatra needed cash to go on the run and sold up all his assets including Corluka and then MCFC. Hughes and the new owners didn't like it. We had a signed contract but they wouldn't release the registration. We threatened legal action and they relented (eventually)
