Ooh really. Care to post them?

http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...y-has-a-friend-in-steffen-freund-8438334.html

Lewis Holtby is desperate to secure a move to the Premier League and will surely be cheered by a glowing reference from the man who might soon work with him at Tottenham.
Holtby’s contract with Bundesliga club Schalke expires at the end of the season and the 22-year-old midfielder, who has an English father but has been capped at senior level by Germany, is a target for Spurs.
Steffen Freund, the club’s assistant head coach, follows the game in his home country closely and believes that Holtby would adapt quickly to football in England. “For Lewis it would not be a problem because he is half-English and loves the Premier League,” said Freund. “I know him, he is the captain of the German Under-21 team and will lead them at the European Championship in Israel next summer.
“He is out of contract at the age of 22. I don’t think I have to say any more. I don’t know him well but what I can say is that he is a really good player.
“If I talk too much about him now, it will seem as though he is already a Spurs player. It is too much now but if it happens, you can ask me everything about him. I know a lot about him.”

Fuck Llorente, he's a big tall, slow football loving, small crowd with no atmosphere craving raisit appologist for choosing Juve over us!!! ;)
Realistically for now the best we're going to get is'nt someone that the whole of Europe are after, we may be on the up but we are still second tier, which is stell much better than where we were 10 years ago. We will have to do what we have done in the recient past and take punts on what are considered second tier strikers, who people rate but the 'bigger' sides wont take a punt on, because they dont have to, like we did with Berba. If we get Leandro it'll be the same deal and who knows, he may be as good and become one of the big strikers but hopefully now we may be able to hold on to these type of players, more so than before. If not, we have Danny to rape the buying club and we have another windfall for signing more players or dont have stadium debt for so long.

It's the football food chain and we're moving up but wihtout selling the club to a billionair we move up slowly. And i'm happy with that :headphone:

At least we are moving the right way!!!

Nani isn't gonna happen
1. Wages
2. Why would Fergie want to strengthen us?
3. Levy has just completely fucked them over

The other big reason why this won't happen is that for the type of transfer fee he would cost and the wages he would ask for there are better players out there.

Do people think Nani would mean the end for Lennon? I kind of hope not, he's been a good servant for the club and had a good season so far. Im not sure any of him, bale or nani can realistically play centrally (though i know some people are calling for Bale to be given a more central role)

Not that we'll get him anyways, but Nani is a much, much better player than Azza, even with his recent form.

Haha, used to say that all the time playing a bit of back garden cricket (no euphemism). Always lead to jokes about India's Anal Krumble. Both good leggies in thier time.

Transfer! Hopefully it will be like when you've been plodding round the shops not buying anything. Make one purchase, all of a sudden you're carrying 10 bags back to the car. Come on DL, lets have some!
Ha so did we! Garden cricket rocks. Bowling mushy, bowling......

Ooooooh controversial ;-)

Every other season more match fixing allegations come out. The only thing more staged than Italian football is professional wrestling.

Anyway I better leave it there as I am taking us off topic. Sorry :(

Just been told that we are very confident on Holtby. There will be no rush and there is no panic. We expect him to sign.
However it suggests that its Summer not January.

This is from an excellent source

If it is January and he is happy to come to us then there really is no rush.

They are pish, he wont want to go to them.... the rats are always first to flea a sinking ship

I can't wait for the Goons to go in meltdown and declare that we need to 'find out own scouts' again...

Same confidence we had about Hazard? Things change so quickly - we just need to get the precontract signed!
