If Holtby doesn't sign this month we need Moutinho IMO because if Dembele is out injured again we go back to looking clueless in midfield.

even though that's a shame if true, if it were a choice of damiao or moutinho at this point, i'd take leo, as long as we end up with one or the other

I think he means his source says Moutinho is a no go and that comes from the Portuguese end.

We showed an interest in Nani but Levy wouldnt pay the wages required. Levy also wont pay the fee for Willian. 24m+ by all accounts
We also started to do the ground work on a deal for Zaha but uniteds strong interest has meant we have stepped back a bit

i hope the money we're saving by signing holtby instead of moutinho means we can spend it elsewhere, although this is levy we're talking about.

If that is the case then i'm astonished. Well, perhaps that's a strong word, maybe bemused. Oh I dunno.
I just wonder how it can go from being all but done to not happening. If this doesn't happen at all now one has to wonder wether or not Levy played AVB like a violin. Of course it might still happen in the summer but right now it doesn't look very good does it?
Still, the guy has us on a sound financial footing, work starts on a new stadium at some point in the next 25 years and has overseen our rise from mid table mediocrity to a side consistently challenging for places between 4th and 6th. And that's all folks.

I would hope that as a young player he might prefer to stay in London at this stage in his career. I guess we don't want to get into a bidding war with UTD though.

We got bostock for about 12p (ha ha ha simon jordan) and thats starting to look steep. In no way at all do i think we should be buying raw potential from the championship for 10 million plus. It'd be financial suicide

This is classic Levy and its becoming a massive ball ache does he have the best interests of the team at heart? the past few windows suggest otherwise. I mean this in the respect that the same old positions are not being addressed....this is why the same names and positions are being spoken about again ie strikers and Creative mids.
