Annoying thing is people say Parker and Dawson are leaders?

Where are they today when we need them to be.

I feel Sandro shows more heart than them two combined when on the pitch.

I don't like Dawson and Verts playing together. Dawson seems to play better alongside Caulker IMO .

one of the worst performances for a long long time

no movement in midfield at all parker comes so deep he actually receives the ball behind the centre backs!

with half a defoe up front they know they can press high up and that we cant play our passing game so have to go direct... get a bloody striker in you muppets

Sometimes... I hate spurs fans. Against ManU, we could finish 3rd, Parker is immense. 10 days later, Parker is s***, everyone's going to overtake us. I swear a large section section of SC are teenage boys who think we should outplay everyone we come across and if we don't win by 2 or 3, were s***. It's embarrassing.

I think it's about time we went 4-3-3. Lennon off, Holtby on.

Lennon looks like he's starting to come into the patch of form where he does fuck all.

Our only choice really is to go 4-3-3, put Holtby in front of Parker and Dembele. Whether we sacrifice Lennon or Dempsey doesn't matter. What we need is to keep the ball moving, lethargically knocking the ball two yards to the person next to you isn't going to open them up, we need urgency and movement as we do not have the target man to allow us to play any other way.

This is yet again another illustration of why we need a new striker.

Jesus. Was really looking forward to this game but its been really poor.

Norwich havent given any of our midfielders a second on the ball, with tettey and johnson just harrassing dembele, deuce and parker. Yet when their midfielders get on the ball they have all the time to find snodgrass who always plays well against us.

We fasion one glorious chance, but defoe, true to form smashes down the middle, when a low stroke in the corner is a certain goal.

Not sure what the solution is tbh. Everyone has played poorly and the team looks disjointed. They need a rocket up their collective arses and some new ideas.

We all knew that the Defoe run of scoring masked his mostly uselessness. Now that he's in a scoring funk, it's effectively playing with ten-men. Everyone keeps screaming for striker, striker! every window, yet here we are.

I'm waiting for the article tomorrow,

"We didn't fancy playing, to be honest. It was really windy" - Dembele

They have eonough problems with themselves and sort their feet.

Tell me Mason, Luongo, Pritchard, Carroll or Obika are worse than that? Let's bring on Gallas, Naughton and Caulker

Very worrying that first half performance - expect a much bigger effort second half. Much more of this and we can kiss finishing fourth goodbye.

I've seen at least 10 games this season where at least at some point the commentator has remarked about our lethargy and inability to stamp our quick, massing style on the match.

How can you can that our style when we don't execute it in that many games? Our style isn't that anymore, it's slow build up, possession football, shoot on site and try and pebble-dash. Yet now it looks like we've thrown in the towel on possession as well.

Our ability to create chances has been shit all season.

I've been exactly that, teams that sit deep or allow us to have plenty of possession we do ok against but more through shooting on sight, we hardly ever carve team open unless we are countering, this slow tappy tappy back to dawson, hoof to defoe is pitiful to watch, who wants the ball? Dembele has been as poor as anyone, hardly created a chance hardly touched the ball.players running rings round us

Shocking 1st half, cant think of one positive thing to say other than at least its only 1-0. 2nd best all over the pitch, lets see if AVB can turn this around.

I'm glad my stream was just about unwatchable by the sounds of it. I've fixed the issue now though so it had better pick up in the second half!!
