I see your point but what is going to happen now is that a Levyite will take issue and respond, you'll respond back, a couple more Levyites will be outraged that you dared criticise Levyinho and crack on and the thread will become inundated with it and all while there's actually been ITK.

In regards to an earlier question. No, I would not be happy if P&V where our only signings this summer. We defiantly need some more creativity, a left wing flair playmaker essentially. A new left back wouldn't go amiss ether. Creativity was a big problem for us last season and I really feel we spent a lot of time reeling from Ratboys departure. P&V would be great signings but we need someone who can outwit defences both in passing play and with the dribble from an attacking position. Coutinho would have been perfect, Lamela and Bernard would be great but seem out of our reach... Maybe Deulofeu on loan but only if we have an option to buy... Which we prob wouldn't.

No, I think the suggestion was that the Mail may have originally falsified the quotes and then they just got spread around. The article containing the quotes was written by 'David Kent'. I think the made-up name is just something papers do when they get their sub-editors to dash something out, isn't it? Nothing too sinister or unusual in it.

To be honest, great player that he is, DV would be a bit greedy and, quite frankly, nuts to turn us down. We've got a lot of what he wants and a real chance to get back on the top of the pile courtesy of a great club on its way back to greatness!

And he's had first team exposure although admittedly not much. It's one thing playing and playing well for one of the worst teams to ever hit the EPL, but to come back and do it for us, where the pressure and expectation to deliver is much, much higher, is another. If he comes back and does that, i'll review my onions and be happy to be proven wrong.
And it's nice to see the thread being used for purpose. I think ITK is going to start picking up pace soon. And about time too.
If I remember correctly, Townsend would often come on for us and play on the left-flank, which was never particularly favourable to him......

Do people genuinely care what is written on the shirt??? I couldn't give a toss, i watch the game not what the players are wearing, quite frankly i don't really care what the kit looks like either. If HP want to give us money to improve the team then great. Their sponsorship has no relation to how we play or our ambitions as a club so looking to the past is pointless.

The quotes are the ones from Paulinho saying how we're a great club, he couldn't turn us down, etc. The Brazilian media hadn't heard any of them and there was a suggestion they'd been falsified. Jason Burt - who featured them on the Telegraph in one of his articles - said this was incorrect but didn't name a source for them. There was a suggestion - which made sense - that the quotes might have been released via us and the player's reps.
