First of all. Don't get nervous. There's no need for the bold big letter. You are not right for writing bigger

I don't give a fuck about bentley or palacios.
30m for a player in his late twenties and who's not world class is madness

Spurs' CFO everyone.

They can't fucking reject 26m + add-ons can they?

That's an awful lot for a 28 year old, especially for a club in Valencia's situation.

I think they'll accept.

you would think, unless Liverpool pull an Andy Carroll and throw most of their Suarez money at him

Can I just say ValYid is class on most days.

But a potential deal kicking off in his back yard? This is just too good

Anything he says on this is way above any other source out there.

Fine tuning...? Im pre ordering the shirt right now ;)

The reality is that by far and away he is the best available option ..... Just get it done, as we all know time kills deals

Well fuck me. Never thought DL would sanction 20m for a 28yr old let alone 26m with add ons.

We'll do this. Val saying fine tuning etc....this is going to smash our transfer record, its already moving at a frantic rate. We are very close if that's what we've offered - it will get done, I'm confident of that.

Unless Soldado would prefer Liverpool and I don't think he would for one minute.

Would rather have had the optimistic ratings for times like these, but I sure as hell hope you are right Mr.P!

Basically it says they have rejected our first offer which was less than €30m, but the Valencia board is meeting tomorrow and hope that we increase our bid. We already have an agreement with Soldado and he'll be gone if we agree a fee.

If the first bid is 26 million, then I'm sure we'll get this through somehow - its too close for us not to reach an agreement. Like Val says, fine tuning which makes total sense.

I think we all know deep down it will fall through on something silly in the end. Probably when we refuse to give him his own parking space.

storts on COYS:

This is exactly my thinking. It's not like its the David Villa deal. We can't just buy players based on whether we will be able to sell them to make money. We will get at last 4 years of quality from Soldado which gives us a chance to bring through a younger striker.

There are no real strikers who are scoring highly aged 20-27 who are available for cheaper anyway

I live in Liverpool (please send aid). I'll pop round Brendan's with a copy of 'The Bumper Book of Crappy Truisms That Make You Cringe'. That'll distract him for the next couple of days so we can get the deal done.

They may have rejected the way it's being paid. Hence the fine tuning. Or just another million here or there. I'm strangely confident on this.

I know! I'm finding it really hard to believe, but I'm letting myself get excited like the giddy fool I am. Perhaps he realises that this is the best time to get into that top 4, last chance saloon and all that. Perhaps he wants to get in before Liverpool, or even if clubs like Arsenal or Real wade in. Perhaps he sees this as a great way to keep Bale interested. Who knows?

One thing's for certain - this can only end in tears, but whether they're of joy or misery remains to be seen.

I think just a balloon on a stick will keep BR occupied for a while.
