Ive spoken to a few of my gooner mates just now (after battering them on fifa without bale on the team btw lol)
But anyway we spoke seriously about how we would be without bale(if he left)and you know what they fear us still. And these fans aint dopes they are very knowledgable and we always tend to get into great debates.
They think with bale of course we would be extremely frightening and mount a top 3 challenge. But also without and with more quality additions on top of soldado (who are very envy of that signing btw) paulinho and chadli. With the bale money we could buy more quality to actually have an all round team full of real super quality that wont need to rely on one player.
I completely agreed. Correct me if im wrong i want a team as a unit to be a team that everyone is scared of not just a team and people single out one player instantly. Of course bale is an amazing player and i want him to stay BUT it could end up as a blessing because it could then mean we can build a team full of winners and really go for it this season.
Thats why either way i am so optimistic this year. AVB in my opinion will relish the challenge this year with the squad he has/will have.

Yeh I fully understand where your coming from I knew about caulker a few days back but didn't want to share it on here as it goes all over twitter in seconds plus the reactions I seen when caulker was announced I'm glad I didn't share it haha!. It's a risky business especially when it could result in you or somebody else losing a job in this climate I'm not sure it's fully worth the risk.
Even posting as the goat people seem to guess who it is that has posted it. Twitter is the other main culprit like when I broke lloris was out of the Swansea game within 5 mins I had gained 90 followers and 5 dm's from journos asking questions but in my excitement of spreading it I realised I was giving away vital team news!.

Clubs are not stupid. Even if the transfer of GB is not announced, if we go say for Lamela, and offer 30m, Roma will assume we are selling GB and inflate the price
