Presumably our pleas for Tuchel to be considered have fallen on deaf ears? Out of Pochttino, Benitez and FDB, I'd go for the Dutchman.

Levy probably just hasn't gotten around to checking the SC fan poll on who to pick for the next manager, be patient

What is actually really pleasing is that we are willing to try for Martinez if that is to be believed however i aren't full monty on his ITK (not slating it just don't think he is always as correct as jj) but i think i would choose Martinez over them all. Love his mannerisms and all his teams always play with passion and he obviously has experience, has he improved his teams though? IMO no but the brand of football is better however he has had a very limited budget at both teams and done extremely well within that budget so this suits Levy. I would love him as manager just watch that football and the confidence he can give our players and the guy has class. Never slates other players managers but i highly doubt he is a viable option.

Not what are only reliable ITK and Journo is saying. Just have to agree a fee with Southampton & the player is very interested. Said only potential problem is Mancs trying desperately to nick him at the last fence but 80 percent certain he'll be a LFC player by August.

Townsend is frustrating but he's still got that talent hidden away somewhere. He's just very raw at the moment. Under a good coach he could really develop his game.

I'd much rather we show Lennon the door if we're looking to raise some money. Townsend is club grown and he isn't the worst backup. He'd need to be replaced so it'd just be more unnecessary upheaval unless we're talking £12-15m.
