IIRC we got a couple of guys on here who are close to Swansea. Or is it Cardiff? I can't remember. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if they turn anything up.

Well I live in Bristol, which is relatively close to Cardiff. I'll have a look across the river Severn if you like.

I think it's unlikely Vorm would come as a number two.

Agreed. I'm rather happy with Friedel as our number two, to be honest. Lloris probably wants to play as many games as possible, and I think we should do everything in our power to keep Lloris happy. Vorm as a second choice GK would most likely demand a bit of game time, at least in the cups.

Swansea bought Fabianski recently didn't they? Vorm is 30 maybe just looking for a payday and will be happy to play Europa games? Please

They did, but I doubt he's played more than half-a-dozen league games for the Goons in the last couple of seasons. More likely he's been signed as a replacement for Tremmell, who's not been much cop. The Vorm ITK could well be kosher, but would he be interested in coming as back-up?

Friedel's best days are behind him. I don't mind him playing the odd game here and there but if Lloris gets injured, I wouldn't want to have to rely on Brad. I would be happy to have Vorm as a number 2 but would prefer to bring in a young English keeper.

Who's CF?
It's meant to be Luc Castaignos, according to rumours in Swansea (where I grew up). A fair few people there expect Bony to leave.
I also think they'll sell one of Taylor and Davies this season, both are too good to be back up left backs. For our sake I hope they decide to cash in on Davies.

Vorm could come with a 'do well and you've got a chance of replacing Lloris' hollow promise from Levy.
His stock isn't as high this year so maybe his agent will play the percentages and try and get him a decent deal somewhere rather than just try for a no. 1 slot at a big club.

Might just be enquiring how much Vorm would be. He's a pretty good keeper in the Pochettino type system too. Worth knowing if he'd come as back-up or if Hugo throws a strop how much we'd have to pay to replace him.

Tbh I'm more disappointed that the ITK didn't say 'and Ben Davies'

Since when does approaching them about if a guy is available mean Hugo's automatically gone? I assume we're just doing our due diligence

I doubt there's any more to it than that. Lloris doesn't strike me as the kind of bloke who would go off on one, and if there had been any interest in him we'd surely have heard.

Vorm makes sense as a backup for lloris as he's another quick off the line type which means we wouldn't need to adjust our style of play like we would with friedel

Agree, it's probably more likely Levy is board of central midfielders and is moving on goalkeepers. After all if we really did sell Hugo I think it is much more likely Dawson would be starting in goal next season, such is our track record with replacing important players we sell.
