of course you can, like where he plays , his pace, if he can shoot, is he direct, has he an eye for a pass etc
i would say we have signed a lot of players who have been scouted for less than 5 games

I would like Depay now, and if necessary we can still go in for Rodriguez in Jan, if he recovers ok.
Well, didn't JJ suggest he is one of players we're looking for. As for The Goat bit, should we read there is nothing at all regarding Depay or nothing at all regarding yesterdays stories, offer, swap etc.?

I read it as there is nothing at all in the stories that a deal had been done (with Chadli going the other way).
But the Goat is a mystical beast so who knows what he's getting at?

Same here, I read it as nothing has happened (yet), not that nothing is going to happen.
Personally I'm happy with where we're at. Ideally getting Musacchio will be a plus. As for getting Schneiderlin and Depay, in an ideal world yes, but even as worst case, we still have Sandro and Chadli in their roles, which is not a heartbreaker is it.
As for Depay, I think that may be tied in to Southampton supposedly telling us no way we're getting Schneiderlin AND Rodriguez.

I understand that Depay will be turning out for PSV in tonight's Europa League qualifying tie against Austria's SKN St Polten. Do we let him get cup tied if we are seriously interested in the lad? I would think not, so that leads to a conclusion its not advanced at all.

Sky Sports: There is genuine interest from Tottenham Hotspur in Netherlands winger Memphis Depay, Sky Sports understands. However, it may have to be a straight cash bid to PSV Eindhoven as it is understood that Nacer Chadli would not be keen on being a makeweight in the deal.

Surely one of townsend or chadli would have to leave to make this remotely viable we can't be 3 or 4 deep in every postion and maintain a happy squad
I'd be interested to know what that comment is based on.

Most of the latest ITK seems to suggest that we are not interested in Depay, all roads really do seem to point to Jay Rod.
