I know I had often said this but it really did look suspicious tonight, the ref was just extremely biased at the very least or completely incompetent, it was a shocking display.
Perhaps.
Thing is, we've gone out again, to a very average side. Probably the worst side we've been knocked out by in recent years. We are better than Gent, no doubt. We have to be, surely?

I think that your overall summary of the club is harsh. I don't think that we are far off where I would expect us to be overall but I am really f*cked off with the result tonight. Not offence to our opposition but even they must be surprised how its turned out.

Some harsh (although I know it's frustrating as fook) comments on here tonight. We paid for a shit first leg. I thought we showed a lot of fight tonight, even more when down to 10 men. We dominated possession, they got a stroke of luck in the first half. Dele had a massive brain fart. Then we got caught when we were chasing the 3rd. No we shouldn't be losing to them, yes our finishing let us down again. Can't knock them for fight though.
One thing is clear, we're going to suffer at Wembley next year. It's a cup final for away fans.

No, I do agree with you on that. To be fair though, Alli should have had a foul given in his favour right before the red and they should have never had a corner in the first place for their goal.
It's the small decisions that make the biggest differences and the refs know this.

We're all hilariously taking the piss out of United and looking at how far they've fallen, whilst finishing in the top four and actually achieving nothing, whilst they say "ok maybe we can't always finish in the top four - let's win a cup even when we're shit" and continue to fill their trophy cabinet.
Ours remains bare as fuckery. We'll soon lose our proud record of being the only team to win a cup every decade for the last 70 years to them too as they're the only other team who've done it and we don't look anywhere near winning anything yet.
