Right, the season of goodwill to all men is over (thank fuck) so we (I) can now resume normal service.

It says the players turned us down - not the teams they play for.Sad but I doubt we were going to offer what Dortmund wanted anyway. Chelsea came in and stumped up the cash.

So nothing really to do with JJ's tweet, just your view, that's cool, I can see that.Yes I’m aware of that. I’m saying that even if, in Pulisic’s case, the player was happy to join us I’m not sure we would’ve offered what Dortmund wanted in terms of fee.
He may not have to for long.Maybe he fancies his chances competing for places with Willian, Hazard and Pedro more than Son, Eriksen and Dele.
Cheers JJ Pulisic turned us down , playing for a top club who progresses talent and chooses chavs who destroy young talent wow ... player we dont need as no brains lol
We are a tier 2 club still - we can't offer the same wages the bigger clubs can and we still do not have the name or the respect around Europe as those teams. I'm sure we will get there eventually but we could be a good 5 years or so away from that even if things go our way and we win a few things. It's frustrating but this is the reality.
It's a reality check for some of the fans I reckon Doc.Pulisic has to be wages. Poch is superb at developing young talent; I can’t imagine much else affecting his decision. De Jong doesn’t surprise me; we’ve had news of him being set on Barcelona before
