You can be pissed off and not call the team legends, it's so fucking lazy. We played poorly and Burnley were the better team on the day, it doesn't make us legends. Its just a tired line people put out whenever we lose a single game.
Sports journo's, fans of other teams will call this performance 'spursy'. Two points off the top was on offer, what else do these professionals need to inspire a individual and team performance, to pretend they are playing Chelsea. Its not good enough, as paying fans we expect more than this dross. Not for the first time this season. There are differant ways to so call 'bottle' a game, they surely were not frightened of Burnley, the inspiration to be 2pts off the top was there, having an off day, come on not allowed at this level. Lack of pre-match motivation hmm. legends, spursy, in some peoples eyes we just reaffirmed the myth.

I dno man, I don't view it as moderator bullying a poster, I see A&C as a spurs fan in a thread and they only moderate if somebody breaks the rules, as-long as you're not abusing mods over moderation issues then I think they're pretty fair game and the original poster could easily tell A&C to fuck off based on the debate being about the result. I've seen many a BSODL give him shit and live to tell the tale.
Christ, if this had been COYS, then he'd have been stripped, tied, hanged, drawn and quartered for even daring to consider typing something negative about a mod.

I'm tired of people sneering at Spurs, everything they do ends up being turned into either something to be thrown in our faces when it goes 'wrong' or a punchline.

Rise above it is all I ever hear. Why the fuck should I have to rise above some tin pot fan or media 'expert'? Fuck them and fuck those who don't believe as well.

Today we were shit I thought, but in the recent few games and over the longer course of this season we are on the cusp of something and hopefully that something clicks and we end up being rewarded.

Dean can fuck off as well. Fucking amoeba of a human being.

Not particularly helpful.

Everyone knows the team has done well. Everyone knows that Pochettino has done a great job with no financial support.

But that doesn't mean that people aren't entitled to be pissed off and angry after today's result & performance.

So please don't call them "pathetic". Because we can all start calling each other names if that's what you want. But I hope we don't because that really would be lazy & pathetic.
Nobody said they weren't entitled to be pissed off or angry. If you read my post properly and thought about it, that’d be helpful. Thanks.

The issue was that the defenders kept making shit headers and clearances from Burnleys long ball game which dropped into space infront of the back 3. Which is exactly what Burnley fucking wanted and why it was really stupid taking off Winks who was the only player in that space. Really missed a DM for the first game all season. Their 2nd goal was caused by the same, stupid clearance in to the non-existant defensive midfield area.
We missed Dembele today

Fullbacks and Sissoko were the issue for me today. Didnt take the pressure off the defence enough and despite having a hell of a lot of space in the attacking 3rd they really struggled to produce any quality.

Verts at lwb probably would have helped again but with Dier and Sanchez out i guess we didn't have this option.

Personally i think there as an issue adapting to having Kane back in the team. It seems Son had no idea where to go and every time someone looked up to cross Kane was dropping deep. Not his fault, thats how he plays but i think we had just got used to Llorente being around the 6 yard box and it threw us a bit.

You expect it from some predictable pundits and wind up merchants on Talkshite, because they are not even fit to be called pundits, but why is it that some of our own fans desperate to call us bottle jobs every time we lose a match. It's football and it happens, teams lose football matches it's a fact, even Man City were turned over by Newcastle and Leicester not very long ago, does that make them bottle jobs ?

Some teams lose more that others, many in this league have lost far more games than us this season and in the last 3 seasons before that, does that mean that every team who has lost more that us cumulatively over the last 3 and a half seasons are all bottle jobs ?

Burnley are in a really good run of form and very recently they stopped an in form Man Utd in their tracks at Old Trafford. This was always going to be a tough game, we weren't as shit as some have been saying on here today IMHO. We have clearly had better days that goes without saying, it was a very close game and they just edged it, we could have settled for the draw but we chose to take a few risks by trying to gain all three points in the last 15 minutes and it backfired. Shit happens sometimes when you take risks but that doesn't make us a weak bunch of bottle jobs on the strength of one game FFS...

Rant over, now let's come back strongly by putting paid to Chelsea and Arsenal's top 4 chances next week and leave them sweating on the lottery of the Europa League.

For as poor as Dean was, we deserved to lose. Maybe the players got carried away with the BVB result and didn't realise we've been lucky in the league last few games. Same old story anyway, needed to win, we didn't. Bring on next season with an upgraded squad (hopefully).
