I can't get over the fear in this thread, Ajax are good but we could have beaten Madrid and Juventus and we did beat Dortmund and Manchester City which Ajax wouldn't have so let's have some belief, we got this.
As a wise man once said:-
"ALL IS POSSIBLE"

Here Here! Ajax beat a Madrid with no Ramos and a Juve with no Chiellini too. Without them 2 those defences were weak.

3 at the back tonight. Keep a clean sheet and attack them next week with Sonny back. 2-0 would be an absolute dream

I think this game is impossible to call. There are so many factors here and it's hard to know which will matter more.

Both teams have beaten more favoured opposition to get here. Spurs play in a stronger league and have more resources but will they count that much in this game when Spurs have so many key players out – and Ajax had the weekend off?

We just don't know and that's the beauty of the Champions League; you don't have as much relevant data to predict who will win. It's not like the PL where the league position tells you how much better one team is than the other.

Only the semi-final game can tell us. And right now anything could happen and it wouldn't surprise me.

I have always had a soft spot for Ajax even without the Spurs links. Went to Van Der Sar's testimonial many years back. Great city, great stadium, terrific old school club. IF we were to lose to them and Ajax go through I will support them over Liverpool and Barcelona. I so badly want the winner of us to win the whole thing and show Europe that it isn't always about the favourites and the big boys or splashing the cash. Two great old school clubs going head to head. Kind of wish it was the final in a way. It really is 50/50 between us. Bring it on. COYS.

All we can ask tonight
is that we are still in with a chance
for the second leg.
Clean sheet and take the chances
that will inevitably come.

Ajax we could wipe the floor wivum
