As much as I would take a 0-0....we have to be looking at getting the win tonight and not putting too much pressure on Son for the away leg as he already looks exhausted!

Bag of nerves right now, can't do any work, whats the point?! A long few hours ahead.

Without Son and Kane, it’s time for Dele and/or Eriksen to come through on this big stage. Carry the torch. Get us a lead in the tie and help keep a clean sheet.

Work? I didn't work today, I was visiting the office.

With so many Important players missing, players coming back from injury and not fully fit, players tired after a long season, and lesser rest time since the last match, I’ve psyched myself to accept any result other than a thrashing. Then we can finish the job next week, just like we have done in the last two rounds.

Fair fucks Coopsie, you got me there. :notworthy:

Sorry mate (am I fuck :finger::D).

I'm annoyingly on my day off work and have now out of things to try and pass the time.

I've shaved my head, showered, washed & ironed my lucky Spurs top, pre-rolled my herbal help for the evening (purely out of respect for our Dutch visitors, of course ), sat down and watched the 3 episodes of GOT that I wanted to avoid so I could watch the last 6 episodes in 1 go when they've finished, I've prepared my dinner & just have to pop it in the oven later.

But there's still over 5 bloody hours to kill & I've got no fucking clue what to do now.

I can't get over the fear in this thread, Ajax are good but we could have beaten Madrid and Juventus and we did beat Dortmund and Manchester City which Ajax wouldn't have so let's have some belief, we got this.
As a wise man once said:-
"ALL IS POSSIBLE"

That was back in the glory days when we had a fit midfield and a strikeforce.

West Ham fans must be well confused that we're playing in a semi-final so soon after losing a cup final.

I see we've received the email again that tells Shelf dwellers not to use the entrances in Worcester Ave. There is plainly something of an unresolved disagreement (tactful term) between the club and the police about security arrangements.

Against West Ham, the upshot was that police held back literally™ thousands of Spurs supporters for about 10-15 minutes, half in Park Lane toward the High Rd and the other half in Worcester Ave, until police could shepherd about 150 West Ham supporters up Bromley Rd and around toward Worcester Ave and the away fans' entrances.

Then they let everyone out at once. The result was an unseemly and interminable scramble and scrum at entrances 18-22, as half the crowd tried to get in at once through one quarter of the entrances. I have a bag exemption certificate and it took me five tries just to find someone who would search and tag my bag. Having arrived nearly an hour before the start of the match, I missed the kickoff. And my beer.

The food and drink sales must have been hammered because the fans couldn't get in for their pre-match pint and hot dog.

Tonight I can't get there until a half-hour before kickoff and I will be mightily pissed off if we get held outdoors again to accommodate a few score Ajax fans and paranoid Old Bill, such that I miss any of the match.

Some of you lot may as well flip yourself over and ask to be called Judy. Yes, we don't have an optimal squad, but in reality we are only actually going to miss 2 or 3 players who would have started. Pull yourself together, have a real warming drink, look yourself in the mirror and say We can do this.

Bit nervous about how it's going to go tonight without Kane, Son or Winks available and our team looking a bit shattered.

Eriksen loves playing in N17, big performance from him today. Defence will stand strong. Sissoko back to bypass Ajax's midfield and feed Lucas and Dele (he's due a goal). Stadium will be buzzing. COYS!

Is English your first language?.

Oh my god. Of all of the thousands of people registered to use this site, you had to choose that one to ask about English being his first language.

I do hope you weren't looking forward to watching tonight's huge game? You'll still be reading his very English, perfectly grammatical response on Thursday morning.
